€5 on Bolton, Stoke and a draw in the Hull v Pompey game @ 25/1 on betfair = :-D

And I just sold a betting slip (Chelsea,'Pool,Lyon,Barca and Real M. - €5 - 12/1) for €40 before the Real game started. Still hope Real win though 'cause I sold it to my dad.

On the news sometimes you see people have made bets specific to themselves...and they don't even bet very much, how do you get the bookies to take those bets? I want to bet on my final year degree score.

    Hello all

I'm trying a new footy betting thing this weekend. It's called Sportstake and it's run by the National Lottery of South Africa. Unfortunately I'm pretty useless.

If anyone is interested, please give me some picks. It costs like R1, which is 10p, so I don't really care if the results don't come up, but I'm sure I'll have a better chance with your selections.

It pays out for 10/12, 11/12 and 12/12. If I win anything substantial, I'll get you a game on Steam or something (anything I can do online really). 3 of the games are South African league. So I only need 9 picks. I should get at least one of the SA results right.

I'll use the first 6 or so replies (if I get that many).

Home Win, Draw or Away Win?

Fixture 1: Chelsea - Norwich City

Fixture 2: Swansea City - Reading

    Fixture 3: Wigan - Everton

    Fixture 4: Chievo - Sampdoria

    Fixture 5: Zaragoza - Getafe

Fixture 6: West Ham - Arsenal

Fixture 7: Liverpool - Stoke City

Fixture 8: Barcelona - Real Madrid

    Fixture 9: A.C Milan - Inter Milan

Here are the SA matches if you are feeling lucky. I'll use your picks for these as well if you choose em. Here's the current log.

Fixture 10: Kaizer Chiefs (yes, like the band) - Bloemfontein Celtic (they do indeed wear a green and white hoop strip)

Fixture 11: Mamelodi Sundowns - Platinum Stars

Fixture 12: Pretoria University - Orlando Pirates

    Thanks! :)

The last 3 fixtures bring back warm memories of SWOS.

Good a place as any. Waiting to see Frankel run for (probably) the last time, always in awe when I have seen him, hopefully will be again.

Odds too short to bet on Frankel. Does he like soft ground? Hope he does it.

Cirrus likes soft ground it seems, but think Frankel will still walk it. Had a value bet on Cirrus though...

Having seen the last race, I don't think it will matter, Excelebration, who is always behind Frankel, did what Frankel does to the field in the last race.

His the best flat race horse ever but I can't see him winning today, ground isn't best for him, wouldn't back from due to the large amount of rain Ascot has had.

    /is no racing expert.
