Who's getting it? Because the way the game is looking I just may buy it.

They even call it the "scariest game ever made", yeah that's right even better then RE.

    i've got three words...

    DO A SEARCH!

there is already a thread for this game, which btw, is looking quite good considering the publisher is EA.

I'm pretty sure I'll be getting this. I've been interested since I first heard about it, and everything I've heard since then gets better and better. It looks much better than RE5.

Incidentally, I'm getting a bit sick of this 'EA games are crap' attitude.

Rock Band, Burnout Paradise, Burnout Revenge, Spore, Crysis, Battlefield, Skate, Orange box.
And, IMO, the three most interesing upcoming games - Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, Left 4 Dead.

...or possibly just possess a different opinion from you. EA have done, or are doing, plenty of interesting stuff.

You'd have to be a bit of a twat to assume something is shit because it's published by EA. Still, your loss.

EA is only a publisher, it's up to the devs to make the game decent.

Yep, it's not even as if EA have been releasing shit games for a while now. Frankly, Pinewood's list there represents some of the best titles of the last 12 months, and the three new ones are definitely on the top list for this winter. EA might shovel a bunch of annual stuff out too, but even that isn't crap (well, except for the last couple of Need For Speeds and the new one looks like it might be a return to form).

    EA published game is good
"[developer] did a great job on this game"

"GRRR FUCK EA ITS ALL THEIR FAULT"

EA might be publishing some good games, but I've heard that working for them is a bit of a 'mare.

If Dead Space is scarier than Project Zero/Fatal Frame I'll be very impressed.

Yeah, me too - it's just not valid any more. Maybe four or five years back, but they're a totally different company now with much higher quality output than most.

Personally, I think Ubi and ActiBlizz are both vying for the old spot EA vacated.

Anyway, Dead Space is looking really good, but I doubt it will be the scariest game ever - Project Zero 2 and/or Silent Hill 2 hold that title IMO. If it does manage to claim it I will be seriously seriously impressed.
