I see you had the same problem with Patchs then, in my case he gormlessly wondered into those analworms' spurting stream of acidic juice. Very annoying particularly because he sells grass of all types at a very reasonable price. -

To be honest, I wasn't going for the weapon anyway - as most new DeS players, I'm playing a royal and spend my souls on intelligence and magic, not strength. I was trying to understand how WT works, and since world 2 was kind of easy for me to finish, I started there.
What got me curious on WT was saving Rydell, to be frank, and things kind of unfolded from that... -

Registered 8 months ago@quadfather I can do it at about 10:30. I’m strong enough to just smash it through 4-1, already killed the big fat guy and got plenty of arrows to kill the annoying flying creatures. Otherwise I’m happy to do tomorrow or Friday.
I have the PSN version, so I assume it’s the European one.

Registered 3 years agoI was a bit late last night - it had gone 11. I've added you on psn, but looking at my characters, I have a 79, a 92, and a 27. The 27 is a bit all over the shop, but it might do the trickpsn = quaddy456

Registered 4 years agoWell after ummm'in & ahhh'in for about a month after getting the Dark Soul finally bought demons souls (cost me £220 had to buy a PS3 too!!). Finding it pretty easy, gone with a dex based melee char - started as a wanderer. Completed1.1,1.2, all of 2 3.1, and all of 4 now sl66 in 2 days. Started to read this stuff on WT; with so many bosses down should I forget about it this run and focus on getting it offline on ng+ or do you think it'll be better using eye stones to revive and die to turn world black? -

Registered 3 years ago@Typhoid - its probably worth doing some of the tendency I'd say. The tricky part is getting it from black to white once you're done. It's tricky going into ng+ with pure black. (tendency carries over).psn = quaddy456

Registered 4 years agoAll worlds done so far, blacked 1&4(got me pure blades stone yay!)& whited 5, killed Gar and exchanged his crest but only got dark grass not ring, wanna go back and gank that bitch see if I can get it that way, will then head to endgame and ng+ to white worlds..
It's only been a couple of days, seems much easier than dark souls, although I guess 140 hours plus of ' training' helps a lot. -

Registered 1 year agoSo I've started a new character so far cleared 1-1, 2-1, 4-1 & 5-1 and totally hooked again!
I picked up the Dragon Longsword in 2-2 and going for Tower Knight in 1-2 tonight, see if I can kill that pesky Dragon too then maybe give 5-2 another try, I'd like to get Blueblood Sword asap but if that goes badly again then 3-1 next

Registered 2 years agoBeing a melee char is the manly way to handle it - those 2 slots would require only 14 intelligence though, just saying - the warding spell is very strong from the get-go, it doesn't get better by pushing the magic stat.
