..and was asked why I wasn't in school.

I'm 26 and have fairly thick stubble at the moment.

    What the hell

Did you punch him in the face?

Ironically enough, when I was in school, or rather, wondering around town in school uniform when I should have been in school, we used to give the truancy officer a big wave and hello in which he would return everyday.

FFS. I was refused beer in ASDA even though I'm 30 and look about 40.

Do what I did, go grey and balding by 26. No problems there.

More importantly than the thick stubble; don't you have a very much receded hairline? You don't get that shit at 16.

So, how did they react? Did you need to prove somehow that you're 26? Did they apologise?

I'm also 26 but get asked for ID all the time. I do look a bit younger than my age I must admit. In fact when I first met my now GF 2 years ago she had to look at my ID as she didn't believe I was 24 at the time. First time I have had to show ID to a girl I want to have some sexy fun time with.

    Fixed

Anyway Gremmi, you should have gone with the flow, challenged him to a game of conkers, won a shiny sixpence off him and popped down the tuckshop for a paper bag full of gobstoppers.
