I have a large number of Space Marines that are hidden away and only ever come out when I have some 'me' time.

No-one shall know my dirty little secret.

I can't laugh too much though. I'm fucking rubbish at painting them. I envy Stickman.

If there is so much reliance on Orks as the enemy, as it seems, then the only real option is Space Wolves, imo.

Ragnar Blackmane as unlockable character ftw.

I still reckon it'll be the Blood Ravens.

    This space left intentionally blank.

Aren't the Ultramarines the current poster boys for GW?

Wouldn't be surprised if they want to champion them for their first big console release.

Anyone play Squad Command on the DS/PSP?
It's a very nice little turn based strategy game. Ultramarines again though.

Has someone told N'gai Croal about this? There'll be an uproar that will make Resident Evil 5's "spear-chucker-gate" look like a PR success!

And yeah, nerd kids these days dont kow how lucky they are - in my day we had to actually go to the shop to buy the models there and then. Then again, i didnt need a 2nd mortgage to get a squad together like you do now.

Been hovering around the GW website recently - the internet is a blessing for the game/hobby. I love the Tau units especially now, and there is just so much good stuff around.

If you are being critical though, you can easily see the influences of other Sci-Fi on the designs of ships and tech in general. The imperial guard ship is the drop ship from Aliens, the walkers are straight out of Star Wars.

I have an original old style dreadnought, which is one of the finest designs ever in the game, i think.

    /gets frustrated, bored and hungry

/remembers he is a grown up with a life

    /gets sad

    ah the warhammer cycle.

My Space Marines and Orks are proudly on display, and Epic armies too. I think its a great hobby, all the more so recently as now my 10-y-o son and his mates have all got in to it, they are down at GW all day painting again today.

In the grim darkness of the far future is a brief respite from parenting.

I've got some of the older Space Wolves stuff too. There used to be loads.

Think I've got Leman Russ with his two doggies tucked away somehwere. Not entirely sure what you were supposed to do with him in game though. Not that I ever actually played it...
