Casey was a shoe-in for a wildcard given his form in the US this season, but Poulter is the big suprise after his average season, arrogant attitude to the selection and with Clarke winning last week and bags of Ryder Cup experience. I guess you could argue that with the US team looking extremely weak this year, it's an opportunity for a young European team to get an easy victory under their belts and gel with 2010 in mind.
