It's not a case of I can't handle the itching, the problem is I don't want to be walking around like I have crabs.

It was a little overgrown but I'm not sure why it suddenly seemed like a good idea.

You should just trim next time. No need to shave it completely off.

    What about the gonads ronads?

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

This is REALLY good. Battery operated, and very cheap.

The trimmers are excellent and never pull any hair the whole time I've used them. You can also use them in the shower (if that's your thing).

Anyway, the hairdressers (supercuts) do my hair, and eyebrows, which for the latter is mostly trimming the odd wayward long ones and sometimes the odd bit of shaping.

    Small scissors for nasal hair

Everything else I use the quarto body.

I did only trim. It makes no sense in my mind for it to itch, but it does.

It itches because the short hair that's left is interacting with your underclothage in new and unusual ways. You'll get used to it.

For me it's tweezers for the nose, and occasionally one of those cheap 5 quid round trimmers for the fine hairs if they start to tickle. Downstairs it's bodygroom all the way.

Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

I've got one of them fancy nose trimmers and it works a treat. Every week or so I use it and it only takes a minute.

Of course, cleaning it is kind of gross, but what are ya gonna do?

I prefer to rip the long ones out back to their roots - then they take longer to grow back and their fine tips (as opposed to cut ends) tickles less.

What sort of trimmer do you have? I bought the cheapest one I can find and it's always done the trick, though I have never felt comfortable using it which is why I pluck where possible.

    Not itching today.

I count this as a male grooming success.

Should've gone the whole nine yards and shaved it all off, nothing like a freshly shaved scrotum. It's breathtaking, as Dr Evil once said.

Tweezers for nose hair are my preferred method. You get used to the unpleasant feeling and you can rip a bunch of the fuckers out at once. It's the manly way of doing it.

Alright EG metrosexuals. When I've been shaving lately I've found my skin to be quite sore during the process, ie running the razor down my face, and it's been cutting me around the mouth and neck quite easily. I'm using some Nivea sensitive skin stuff and a Gillette fusion razor.

What do you think? Switch to proper high end shaving stuff? I realise it's probably been covered but appreciate any tips!

A cheap DE razor with decent DE blades, a synthetic brush and some half decent cream should do the job. And an alum block. Don't forget the alum block.

    /wafts out of thread.

Worth having a peek here for blade sample packs, so you can find some that suit:

Try King of Shaves razor and gel, not expensive and far better than gilette/nivea

I've noticed that shaving daily is worse for me than skipping a day or two till it's a few mm long. I don't mind looking a bit like a homeless person though, might be different for you.

    What's all this "shaving" bullshit?

    I'm a grumpy bastard.
