    Anyone tried that "Into the dead" endless runner zombie game? Heard them bigging it up on Midlife Gamer podcast. It's free and pretty cool.

    Yeah. It's boring and I would struggle to describe it as a game. The atmosphere is great but it's far too simple in its mechanics.

    No problem. I would have missed it as well if THFourteen hadn't told me about Touch Arcade. I try and keep my eye on that from time to time. Especially during the Christmas period, because iTunes doesn't have an 'on sale' section.

    Slightly concerned that might mean that it'll be free at some point during the Christmas period.

    Same thing happened with Broken Sword the other year. And Sonic and Sega Allstars Racing.

    Austerity measures mean that 69p is going to be held back in the hope that it goes free.

    Don't get on with touch screen controls, but I'd hate to miss out!

    Same, unless it is something steamlined like Kairosoft games or Pocket Planes. Exception made for something like Ghost Trick though, which I loved to maximums.

    I'm tempted to stroll into town to get a pad, though, so may rectify this aversion to touchscreen via that. Also means I can clean my phone of "big" games.

    Think Monkey Island etc would be much better via megascreen.

    Yes, I thought that too....now the iPad is just full of big games I haven't played :)
