I know it sounds like a crap idea for a thread, but I think it has potential. I blame the pizza thread personally. :p

My simple tastes like Red Leicester. Especially on home made french bread pizzas! Yum!

    You?

I'm dead boring when it comes to cheese so I only really eat Red Leicester and Cheddar.

Strong cheddar. That's about it really, though I'm sure there are plenty of ones I'd like if I tried them.

I feel like I should maybe experiment a bit more and try some new things out.

Oh, I bought some awesome little dollops of cheese in Morrisons the other day which had bits of black pepper and flakes of chili on top of them. They were reet good.

That's the precise reason why i think this will be a good thread.
A lot of people (myself included) only stick with what cheese they know. I see so many different types, but don't try them in case they're nasty.

I like this cheese that's sun-dried-tomatoey that I've gotten before - God knows what actual type of cheese you'd call it though. Also this 'Mexican' one with pepper and etc in it, again no idea what to call it.

It is indeed, Bacon and melted brie is to die for.

Used to just go into bars in france and order beers and a selection of cheeses. That was great.

Mexican is also gorgeous, esp on digestives.

Edam's the best, although sometimes the smell reminds me of feet which puts me off.

I'm pretty sure it's just the triangle shite grated. Still grated > triangle shite.

Really love Cheshire cheese, Monterey Jack (sp?) and that Port Salut stuff. Three very different, but tasty, cheeses.

They should call it Tubgirl flavour. That's what blue cheeses taste like... squits, squit and puke yoghurt.
