    Alan Partridge is without doubt the best known of his characters, but God knows he's done quite a lot of different ones.
    Which character did you like best? I think Paul Calf gets my vote.

    Yeah, some of his none Partridge stuff on The Day Today was superb - but it has to Partridge that stand out above all others.

    Partridge is my favourite, obviously, but a big fan of Tommy Saxondale too. Love everything Coogan did on The Day Today as well.
