I am 2m tall and I find it quite hard obtaining upper body clothing (tee shirts and jackets) which are long enough for me. I am not really skinny, but not fat either.

I dont have a problem getting jeans because I know a couple of places I can order them online in extra long (including Next).

I was hoping some of you taller folk could point in the direction of a website (UK based) that sells fashionable and nice looking tee shirts which have the taller man in mind.

    Thanks!

I lurk. If I've spoken to you, I'm either impassioned, or drunk.

Really? I'm 6'7" and getting Ts and tops is no problem, it's jeans that are the hassle!Skinny T-shirts are in fashion so I can normally get away with a Large and a lot of sucking my stomach in :) Failing that it's time to pretend you're a skater and wear XL.

TK Maxx have XXL sizes. Cheap and good quality (I'm 6'5"). They also stock larger sizes of shoes.

I don't really understand how you can need long trousers AND long Ts, but TK Maxx is a good shout, as is High and Mighty (they have stores, but I think they are online too).

I'm 6 ft 6 and high and mighty is the biggest crock of overpriced middle aged shit in existence. Unfortunately, it's the only place I can consistsently get shoes as i can't be arsed mail ordering as I like to try things on before buying. Your only other option is going into a normal shoe shop and asking what they've got in your size. They then come back with two pairs of shoes that look like moonboots, and you walk off emptyhanded.

I normally buy other clothes from normal shops but as my waistline expands as I'm getting a bit older this is getting harder, especially with jeans and trousers.

Personally I think online is the wrong way to go unless you have tried the stuff on first.

XXL does not necessarily mean fat and tall. The best thing is all the sizes are grouped together so you don't need to spend too long looking. One of the problems with the size system is there is no common ground for XXL or XL you really need to try them on. Debenhams and M&S also stock larger sizes in the bigger stores. Diesel stuff tends to be slim fitting but long at XL sizes.

High and Mighty then, be warned you will pay a premium though. The other option is to get some stuff made or altered by a decent tailor, which also cost shit loads.

    Or wear short sleeved stuff.

I am a bit confused that, of all things, T-shirts and jackets are too short. Informal stuff doesn't have a standard rule how long they need to be, anyway, so as long as they don't leave you navel-free... :)

The only thing I really have problems with are suits. All other stuff, I just go into a shop and buy them.

Weeeee, there's loads of us giant people here!

I recently discovered Debenhams do extra long fittings in shirts and suits.

Also shop at walk tall online.

I just got a tailored shirt made by http://www.tailorstore.co.uk/ for 40, but you can get them for 25 for less fancy material.

    Oh, and Slaters menswear.

And the XL t-shirts from threadless fit me well too.

    I'm 6'8", btw

did you know tall people are naturally a little slower than most because the air is thinner up there?
/tries to tell self I'm better off being short.

    Excellent thread. Buying fashionable clothes for us giants in EU is near impossible. ;_;
