About time and well deserved. Great for the people of Dunblane too.

What a cracking match, Britons obviously need to play all their games on September 10th, not sure how practical that would be though. :-)

Still no smile from Lendl? I'm sure he'll be happy when Murray pays him the bonus :)

And well done, young man. Finally all the pressure is off him. Hopefully he'll enjoy the rest of his career.

Not as emotional a speech as I thought it would be!

He does look absolutely knackered though.

I believe this means that, if he wins the Tour final at the O2, Murray finishes the season as No. 1. Useful.

Well done Murray. Honestly didn't think he'd ever win one, but he's been in a sublime run of form since Wimbledon and finally brought a positive game and attitude into a GS Final.

It might be a weight off his shoulders for now, but he's going to be under immense pressure during his home GS at Wimbledon now he's proven he can win one of these things.

I think he's just dealt with the peak of his pressure in this match; if he lost here it would have been the record of GS finals played and lost. With this under his belt he won't look back.

I lurk. If I've spoken to you, I'm either impassioned, or drunk.

I'd like to think he'd pip it anyway. But if he finishes the year as No. 1 I think he'll get SPOTY.

He's the only guy who could run Wiggo close. Although I think Wiggo should have it in the bag regardless.
