Not a chance...at least not this year.

    lol. Daft statement.

Nadal is tired, Feds isn't the real Feds at the moment and he's beaten Novak twice in the last 2 tournaments.

Of course he's got a chance and a good one at that, which is reflected in the odds. About 10-1, 4th lowest odds, after the top 3. He's not the favourite obviously but he's got a very good chance.

If you bet on him before these two tournaments you'd have got better odds.

Still feel the same way about Murray?

    yes I do.

So has this become the US Open thread? My attempts at using the actual US Open thread haven't really succeeded...

Murray looks knackered. Shame 'cause he's played some amazing tennis in the first two sets.

We didn't choose to make it the unofficial tennis thread, it chose itself.
    COME ON MURRAY...
    when the rain starts.

Nice, he finally lives up to the billing.

    He's still a miserable fucker. :)

Nice one. I flicked between both threads thinking I'd pressed the wrong one every time because the last reply was always the same :S

Bloody hell, Bogdo a set and break up against Metzer, who'd have thought it?

When he puts his mind to it, Boggo can play very well on grass, at least in small doses. He proved that when he took Roddick to 3 sets at Queens last year. Below average most of the time though..

Personally I really have no interest in Davis Cup anymore. I was at the NEC years ago watching some pretty exciting UK v's USA matches but that was in the days of Jim Courier when he tore Rusedski and Henman apart.
