    Just lock boxed up and got a Mirror Universe Escort from the Dominion box and a prefered dilithium mining ticket. 6 of 'em. Apparently good for 2500-5000 dil per day depending on skill. :)

    Tell it to the cleaning lady on Monday.

    Latest patch notes, not too bothered about Officer Reports being ditched and a sliding scale of rewards dependent on how long a Foundry mission takes to complete but there being no fleet mark rewards basically means it's going to be very difficult to accumulate them now.

    It's almost like Cryptic don't want anything but big fleets in the game, to be honest I'm thinking that it's just a time sink now with pretty much bugger all reward unless you're in something with a couple of hundred people contributing.

    what is annoying is that foundry authors are being blamed for this change,as if foundry authors can dictate Cryptic policy.......

    Bah, that's bad news on the Foundry Missions. Was the 960 dil a bit too much then? It's still take about 8 hours of repeat missons to yet the 8000 D you can refine a day. I better use those rich Dilithium tickets before they nerf those.

    I was hoping to make it to the event tonight but my plans got changed just now. Turned up on Monday though...it was quiet.

    Tell it to the cleaning lady on Monday.

    Predictably Klink only players are complaining.

    Looks very nice, I may pick up the set when my piggy bank grows a bit or if it goes on sale, I'd miss my fighters though.

    pity I had to reinstall windows and my STO installation went to pot, ah well once it's done patching the 7 gigs of data I shall venture into character creator and soon there will be hank scorpio zipping through the stars.

    The fleet mark changes are rather welcome, I was getting virtually all mine through IOR and that disappearing was rather painful.

    Anyone pulled the trigger on an Andorian ship yet? :-P

    I will since I have a shit load of stripends to spend, but I'm still waiting on the patching, computer went to sleep stopping the patching process annoyingly.

    Well I've given it a go on the borg queen STF mission to be honest it's rather predictable colossal forward damage but nothing outside the rather narrow firing range if you go with 4 dual cannons and a torp launcher up front, that said the universal lieutenant station gives the ship a lot of flexibility and having 4 engineer, 2 science and 4 tactical consoles is rather nice as well.

    It may grow on me but I still prefer my advanced escort with the multi vector console on it.

    Oh yeah and I did try to make my character look like scorpio but I was scuppered by the fact that my main character is a joined trill and you can't have yellow skin.

    I'm probably not the best to ask since any difference I see is going to be rather small, my weaponry is all mk12 anti borg anti proton gear. The more useful aspect is the console that lets me spawn 2 phaser cannon ships that follow me around and while they can be targeted they don't disappear after an arbitrary time limit so they stay alive for as long as I want.

    Still not as useful as the multivector advanced escort console since when you use that the npc will attack the other segments while they don't bother with the 2 andorian phaser ships thing but it's nice to have the dps boost.

    they seem to be making a bigger deal out of it then they have out of anything else they've done recently, maybe they are actually going to give us another faction to play? Although I somewhat suspect they'd be more people who would want them to flesh out the klingon side more than they want another faction to play added.

    I love all things Star Trek except the 2009 film which I thought was awful from start to finish, I hated it.
    But luckily STO is proper Star Trek in the proper Star Trek universe so I like it. :)
