Hmm, if nothing else I'll be upgrading my Jem'Hadar stuff to MK XII.

The two new carriers look rather sexy too, hmm...

Hey guys seeing as I've now been put in charge of trying to find more UK and European recruits, if you don't belong to a Klingon fleet I'd like to recommend joining the House of Korax,we are a friendly fleet with a tier 2 almost tier 3 starbase, we deal with all aspects of playing as Klingon's and Klingon culture and we all help each other out./ advert :p

I'd love to upgrade my Jem'Hadar stuff, but as it'll be in the Lobi store it's not likely to happen. If it's 150 lobi like the Tholian set upgrade is then it's effectively 30ish (assuming 1 = 125 zen = 5 lobi points, obviously excludes items you get).

I know you can farm Dilithium etc., but it does seem a bit ridiculous that set upgrade isn't far off the cost of the Vesta pack.

I'm a lonely Klingon but I doubt I play as her enough to warrent a fleet.

As for the lockboxes, I'm feeling increasingly burned by those. I only seem to get Gamme Quadrant Mini Packs everytime out of the Temporal ones. Luckily Zen is dirty cheap at the moment and I could afford a couple of keys. The lockbox I got on Old Republic gave me a bounty of goodies..although I think it was 2 rather than 1. Not that I paid, I used my subber allowence.

I've spent rather more Zen on master keys than is probably sensible really, it has lead to getting some useful items (isometric charge and subspace jumper are really handy) and making a fair amount of cash on the exchange.

Oh and plus all the Tholian DOFFs I've got, having 10% extra damage versus Borg or Tholian or Undine just by slotting in the relevant chap is groovy.

@GiarcYekrub Perhaps you had it on Elite difficulty? Are you level 50? Shouldn't be much that would blow you instantly, unless you have no shield equipped?

Yeah Lvl 50 was playing the New Link mission I think anyway warped into a system full impulsed in and got stuck in an explosion loop, In the past as long as I could defeat one ship it'd get easier the next respawn just couldn't do that

Doing a Borg Defence mission for the Deferi, I'm mooching about looking for the next group to attack, everyone else seems to be elsewhere, my fighters get a bit too close to a Tac Cube and engage.

I think, "what the hell, let's do this", I engage the Tac, a couple of spheres and another Cube.

Someone pipes up on the zone chat saying "you shouldn't take on a Tac Cube solo", I don't bother responding as I'm busy, "good luck with that then" the person spouts again.

I have the Tac down to about 30% hull when other people in the area turn up and join in. At no point was I close to going bang and it was quite comfortable really.

The whole group goes down pretty quickly and in comes the boss, which goes down very quickly too and I didn't blow up at all during the whole Red Alert.

Strangely my critic didn't say a single thing again.

You're never solo when you've got six Elite Scorpion fighters! :-)

PvP against a Recluse must have been fun when it launched 24 Scorpions instead of the 12 it was supposed to.

Battleship Royal Rumble was fun, although I didn't think it would scale for the number of players.

Stuff the Borg ground missions until I've got my gear together though :D

I don't see any problem with 5 times the amount of ships, we should do it on Elite as well. :-P

    @kingcrowbar

yeah foundry mods do that,in fact a dreadnought type ship (at level 4) won't spawn until there are I think 3 players.

I'm confused as all hell now.
So i finally get around to installing the client. Done. Reset password. Done. Login and i'm told to create aPWE, so i do then i'm told to link the account... and there's nothing on the link.

I'm apparently logged in with my PWE accountname but my STO info is there. Am i done? Or is there another step? What the hell do i do now?

How long do their password resets take? This is getting stupid now.
I can't login to two accounts now. STO or PWE.

Am i stupid or is this process just dumbly implemented?

On the Account page it only shows you the non game bound Zen. On the C-Store it shows Zen that's bound to that game (which the lifetime sub stipend is). It's so you don't get confused and think you can buy lots of stuff on Champions Online or whatever other game :)

Ohhh, thanks. That's what two years or so will do for you. Pesky kids go and change stuff.

I'm in now and ... i remember nothing. Time to start reading again and jog the old memory. I was bombarded with messages when i logged in and have all sorts of extras and what-not to workout. It was fun to see all the stuff i had in my inventory ... Tribbles! Bless.
