Arrrgggghhhh.... I don't know how hot it is, but it's too damn hot to be working. I want to be out in my garden with a couple of cold beers but nooooo... instead of that I had to go and grab my aircon just so I could survive through the phone meeting I have to do before double checking some quotes.

    Fuck you world!

In a few short minutes I will be legging it out of here and retiring myself to the confines of the (allegedly) biggest beer garden in England.

The whole of England is my beer garden, apart from town centres where I get told off. Street drinking for the win

Seems a bit chilly out here today. I might be wrong, I haven't been outside since 8:30 but it looks it.

    Good. Can't stand heat.

EDIT: Actually I just checked outside and it's a lot warmer than it looks. Bollocks :(

To craigy, StarchildHypocrethes, and smoothpete... screw you!

What's worse is I'm literally 5 steps from my fridge and 2 steps from my garden. But if I don't work... I don't earn. =/

Yep, me too, although I'm not self employed, so I earn regardless.

    High five?

Yeah, I had to plan that months in advance or I'd have never got to play the game. lol

What a relief it's been with all the rain we've been having of late. It's no fun trying to get to sleep with no success because of the heat, even with fans and AC on, no sheets and no clothes.

Still, love the sun and the heat, (regularly tops 35), just not the humidity.

Heat ain't the problem so much, although the ME is total cunt during the day. However, the real killer is humidity - the human body can deal with high heat better than it can deal with high heat in a moist atmosphere. Well, at least this fucking human body.

/curses days of rain and evaporation

How much is that in real units?

    About 37C.

    Eek :(

I've been in that kind of heat before (in the middle east). Never again.

Supposedly it went higher, but I didn't notice as I was sitting indoors with the air conditioning on. :)

It was in the mid to high 90s in Florida last month. I actually found it bearable as long as I had plenty to drink and was walking from shade to shade.

It was 24-27C at night. I was sat on the balcony of our room at 2 am in shorts and tshirt. I miss it :-(

Was that the thermo heat or the heat index?

It's practically baltic here today at only 78 but I reckon if I were to step outside it would be like a sauna.

Although it can get too hot and too humid I can't say I don't like wearing shorts and sandals for nearly six months solid. I love being able to sit out on my porch in the morn having brekkie in nuthing but a pair of boxers :)
