The sale is still on, but it's showing "Last Chance" for most items now. So you might want to grab them while you can. Legend of Grimrock on at $3 atm

Joystick: GOG announces Steam-like client 'Galaxy'

The client will offer cross-platform support for those playing online with others that are using other clients, such as Steam.
This implies more DRM-free versions of modern games! \o/
It's also totally optional: Those looking to just play their games offline won't need to use the client.
    Suck it, Steam/Origin/Uplay.

So there's a big sale going on at GOG. Looks like most (all?) titles are on sale, plus extra savings with hourly sales too.

@quadfather Yeah, mutator adds a couple of pounds to your total and unlocks a random game from the GOG library. Not keen on surprises and don't want to end up getting something like Omerta or Daikatana so I'll pass...

It's my stupid backlog that's stopping me. Here's an example - last week, I bought diablo 3 for the ps4. Even though I have it on the pc, but I wanted to play it on the big screen. Then, 3 days later, I bought the new middle earth game. That's still in it's wrapper, and I've ordered alien isolation today!

more fucking money than sense I tell you

Yeah, it's awesome having lots of disposable income, isn't it? ;-)

Shadow of mordor is the first game in ages I started playing right after buying. I usually play for an hour or two and tell myself I'll come back some other time and sometimes I even do, usually after 3 years.

I'm on the verge of getting Isolation as well. I saw an ad for it at the cinema on the weekend and it's really made me want to get it.

That sounds like my steam library to be fair, except that I'll get no return value from that! At least you can trade in!

@dominalien - the *other* problem is that by spending that cash now, at the start of the month means I'll be fucked by mid month, so you can take solace in that if you want :)

Anyone else getting a Fast Show vibe from the forums at times?

    /Buys new games
/Stealth "I am significantly richer than you comment
    /circlejerk

Edit: And quaddy, I'm over 100 of games I know I'll never play, but they were available for cheap so I bought them.

I'm hoping for that "broken leg" dream where I get 6 weeks signed off sick pay to enjoy them leisurely*.

    * = except I know I'll play one game that ENTIRE time.
