I was THRILLED when I saw that earlier, as I would happily pay $6ish without even thinking for proper Divinity II (it's been on my to-buy list for a while). Then I couldn't quite see if it was Ego Draconis + expansion, or the actually-decent Dragon Knight Saga remake + expansion, so didn't buy immediately as I thought I could check here.

Then I saw it was US$17 instead of pay-what-you-want for the Divinity Anthology (lying title is lying). So I didn't even bother posting here as it's a standard GOG poor offer.

I see it's gone up to $22 for the Anthology now, so I apologise for not posting about it earlier. I didn't realise they'd actually make it more expensive. o_O

Wait for 75% off on Steam or Amazon or somewhere. This is roughly equivalent to a 10% pre-order discount... on a three-year-old game. :-P

It hasn't been otherwise noted, but Spycraft is on GOG now. Which is a fucking amazingly awesome game that everyone should go get. SPYCRAFT.

Oh, yes, Spycraft is... interesting. :p Taught me to shoot people in the neck instead of the head.

I think I've just made it sound far, far more exciting that it really is. SPYCRAFT.

Midweek gem sale deal on GoG is Blackwell Bundle: $5.99 for a collection of point and clicks. Offer available until tomorrow morning.
Anybody tried FTL: Faster than Light, and care to summarise their thoughts?

The new Divinity II: Director's Cut they're offering is...Basically the DC is an official console for customising the game that they used for demonstrations/play in the studio during the time they were making it - you just hit F11 in-game and can then select all kinds of stuff! Explained here: Also comes with full Dragon Knight Saga.

The Blackwell stuff is great if you like point and click. I've got them all and others by Wadjet Eye. Love 'em!

Big shouts to Dave and Jane :)

    @jellyhead

Do you know when the sale ends? I had a look but couldn't see a date.

@ZizouFC Yeah, there's no cut-off date mentioned but looking at the page, it's a 24 hour sale and the GOG comment was put up 22 hours ago... so two hours to go. Possibly.

Thanks for the information. Much appreciated. :)

Yea, but GOG is selling that game, plus its two predecessors, for 7.77 and without DRM and what not. Still seems like GOG has the better deal going on.

Hey, yeah, it's gone down to $12.51 now. :| Still not pay-what-you-want, but better than the $17-22 they had at the start.

Is the first Divinity worth it of I still have Fallout 1, 2 and Planescape to play? They are all pretty long games afaik and I don't want to waste my time with Divinity of it's not as good.

If memory serves, the first Divinity is closer to Diablo than the Interplay games. It's very well done, and a lot of fun to play, but a very different sort of game.

Ok cool. It didn't cost me much so I'll give it a go one day. Fallout first I think.

GoG do also offer related goodies (soundtracks, art, etc), along with the items themselves. Not having played Divinity II yet, it turned out really nice timing for me, as I also now have digital copies of DD/BD so that I need not worry about finding the discs/manuals again for a reinstall. :)

I am tempted to get Heroes of Might and Magic 5 as it is a measly 7.99$ at the moment and I am a huge fan of Heroes of Might and Magic 2 and Heroes of Might and Magic 3. I'll read through the reviews and such but what do you lot think of it?

I see GoG is offering Edna & Harvey: The Breakout with newly released Harvey's New Eyes as a bundle, and has a launch discount on the pair of games from the publisher who brought us Deponia, The Whispered World, and other retail offerings for the likes of Machinarium and Gemini Rue. :)
