Capitalisation of gamertag

    The firat letter of my gamertag is being automatically capitilised and its case sensitive so i cant fetch my gamer info.

    Can't you change the case before you submit it?

    Maybe it's some sort of grammar correction incentive?

    The form shows my gamertag in the correct case but then changes after i submit it. There is a php function i think its ucfirst() that might be the cause.

    I thought this was for eurogamer to solve issues looks they couldnt give a crap more moneky coders just what the world needs.

    Seeing as some people have lowercase tags quite happily, I suggest the problem may not actually be with the site?

    The thing is, your gamertag has a capital Z. Or have i missed something?

    Gamertags aren't case sensitive.

    Behold Zeffer and zeffer, neither of which seem to exist.

    And some bloke who does Whizzo and whizzo.

    Hmm, but i just added him, by accident, to see how he spelt his tag.

    Edit: Oh, wait, yeah the gamertag doesn't exist. Ignore me.

    I think my gamertag does exist thankyou very much, log nto xbox live on the web and search it.

    What, you mean here? Note the lack of capitalisation in the URL, then note the capitalisation in the gamer card.

    Seems to me like you've made the fuckup here, not EG.

    Zeffer. I think I know what's happening here. I looked for your profile as you suggested, you are correct. It does exist, however and there is nothing in it. No play data, no game data, no gamerpoints or achievements.

    Adding your GT has worked, it's just that there is no data for Eurogamer to fetch.

    Someone should check their Live privacy settings, if no data shows up on Xbox.com there's no way EG can fetch anything.

    bizzare i found Zeffer aswell with zeffer in the url so fook knows what that is all about, i have 6335 achievment points so Zeffer aint me im zeffer, everything is entered correctly everywhere, ive lost interest now anyway.
