It's serious filth. That photo should be 18 rated and come in a brown paper bag under the counter. It's so so so good.

    /drools.

Brioche as a burger bun just doesn't appeal to me. It just seems wrong.

That's the exact way I used to think until I tried it. It really works. They are soft yet really hold up well. The rich and slightly sweet note really adds something special. I have become converted to the brioche bun cause.

Fucking hell. That place sounds brilliant.

Edit* D'oh. I am of course referring to that P&B place mentioned on the previous page.

Just had a kangaroo burger. Was delicious but just tasted like slightly beef!

I had a kangaroo burger while in Spain. Most red meat animals do just seem to taste pretty much like beef. I do like buffalo. It's like beef but it has a rich spicy quality to the meat.

Oh they have buffalo as well (Edinburgh market) so that will next be on the list.

The bun looks delish! I'm not sure what's Hawaiian about that dish, though.

The bun actually was a week point too. It didn't stand up to the mass of ingredients and fell apart. If the burger had any kind of sauce it would have been even worse.

And yeah, not sure what is Hawaiian about that either. Nothing on the menu really seemed very Hawaiian, just your standard stuff you get most places.

How could they screw up a sesame and poppy bun, ffs.

Well... at least you know now.

@Goodfella - I know, really bizarre isn't it? Maybe it's an Hawaiian thing lol Hey look, I'm here for a fat greesy heart clogging burger! Get that healthy shit off my food! STAT!

@rounds - Yeah, no regrets at least I tried it. Live and learn :-)

They did have that on the menu but pineapple in my burger... I just don't know. Sure, with pork or even maybe a meaty fish like tuna but with beef? Not sure.

    I didn't say I liked it - only that it's more Hawaiian!

I like it on ham. Never tried it on a burger, though. I'd give it a go!

I got 700g of 28 day aged dexter rib eye from East London Steak Co. to grind up for burgers. Very extravagant but a friend of mine is coming over so it's a good excuse to push the boat out!

Gonna have beef patty, melted gouda cheese, caramelised paprika onions, and pickles in a buttered bun. Can't. Wait.

    Inaugrial burger next week!

@wobbly_Bob Eurgh, having friends over for dinner is so hateful. Can't stand it. Good luck to you, but I like to share my meaty creations with myself and nobody else :D

Any Netflix library in the world for a couple of quid a month? Gimme!

I made an awesome burger yesterday to start BBQ season. Mixed the meat up with a load of spices to give it a Memphis style barbecue sauce tang, topped it with a slice of extra-mature cheddar and a thin layer of peach and mango salsa.
