Oh God yes, only if they don't over do it with the sauce. They put too much on at GBK once. I was crying throughout the entire meal trying to put it away. It took so long to come that I didn't want to send it back. :(

I like the burgers they do here at the 50s diner Eddie Rocket's. It's stupidly expensive though.

I got well addicted to BK cheeseburgers when I was at uni.. actually solved my skinny-bastard affliction I had.

I can't recommend the cheeseburger diet highly enough for those who feel they need to put some weight on.

Is it just me though or are their burgers getting smaller?

The best BK burger was the KING. I could eat 4 of them. Or 2 XL kings.

Wish to God they'd bring them back.

Any had the Spoons Gourmet burger? The burger may well be made of Zeebu (aka dog), but it's covered in blue cheese sauce and is stuffed with onion rings, and a ale for a fiver.

Like Eddie Rockets myself but you're right that it's too pricey. Captain Americas on Grafton St used to do a nice burger when I went there, probably still does. There have been so many gourmet burger places springing up in that past 12 months. The burger is very popular at the moment.

Ah you're in Ireland, IIRC? I live in Liverpool and as far as I know we have the only Eddie Rocket's outside of Ireland. It's great food and loads of fun with the theme and all, but the price is really quite ridiculous.

It annoys me, as I'm addicted to those burgers and hot dogs! Everything there is massive as well.

For a cheap, quick and tasty burger, there's nothing better than a 1.19 Double Cheeseburger from McDonald's.

The best one I've had recently was at a pub - half pound of beef, bacon, cheese, onion rings, chilli and sour cream. It was far to big to pick up and eat, but very, very tasty. :)

I've enjoyed (McD's aside) about 2% of the burgers I've ever eaten, but that 2% have been some of the nicest food I've had. I just find most burgers tasteless, I've obviously not eaten at the right places!

    Burgin'.

Ha! I always walk past Eddie Rocket's but can't bring myself to go in. The burgers are worth it, then?
