    ...are there many? (good ones?)
I've just got my ps3 and have noticed (from play.com mostly) that worryingly few games have offline multiplayer...
so could you tell me which ones do?... co-op or competitive...

    thanks in advance

(sorry if this is a repeat thread...i did look)

oh yeah, does anybody know if GRID has offline MP? cheers :)

Calling all cars too. That's great in MP. Not so in SP and the online mode is a wee bit sparse these days:(

I found no offline MP in Motorstorm paticuarly disappointing; it could have made the game a bit more fun to play with mates.

is resistance one any good offline multiplayer-wise?

and in case anyone other than me is interested... buzz with friends is the best multiplayer fun I've had on my ps3... me and my flatmates played it for 8 hours straight the other day :-S ...

RFoM isn't paticularly good splitscreen - CoD4 is better.

But now Motorstorm 2 has it and Wipeout HD has it (but the framerate drops to a locked 30 instead of 60).

Indeed, I have both those, only played Wipeout splitscreen though

well considering R:FoM is only a tenner i might go for it... and I've just bought motorstorm almost exclusively for the splitscreen having played the demo for a couple of hours with my flatmates*. ...and I've found that wipeout is good for splitscreen when one is not quite "with-it" but taking turns on single player old school stylee is much more fun for some reason.

*and upon seeing that its 20 at shopto!

super stardust HD is great in co op, although it runs much slower (half the framerate) if run split screen

LBP is by far the best (that seems to be my answer to most gaming related questions in the last month but it's definitely true in this case)

Other good options are Stardust HD and Calling All Cars - CAC is especially great when you've more than two people. Resistance co-op is good too, in a "anything is fun in co-op" kind of way.
