    Lutzie's Legendary Manwich

Take 1 round of bread, preferably Warburtons Toastie or Super Toastie.
On this place, in order from bottom to top:
2 cooked sausages, cut in half length ways down the sausage.(Cumberland are good, but Richmond are OK too.) Place 1 on each half of your bread.
1/4lb Burger (With Cheese melted on), chopped in half. Place half a burger on each half of your bread.
1 Waffle, again chopped in half. (8 holes per side)
Beans. They fit in the little holes on the waffle ever so snug.
4 fish fingers. 2 per half.
2 Crispy Pancakes (Mince), one per half.
    Tomato and Chilli Sauce
Finish sandwich with round of bread.*

    Squish it down.
    Cut in half.
    Dislocate jaw.
    Insert sandwich into mouth.
Put jaw back into place and chew.

    Yummers!

To be consumed with strong, sweet coffee.
    *
Note: It helps to flip the sandwich over at this point
    :b...

My mouth actually started watering half-way down the list.

Fried could work, but the added yolkiness mixced with the grease would seriously impact the sandwiches ability to hold itself together.

Scrambled does work, but I suppose if you went fried you could burst the yoke whilst frying, for a mini-omelette jobbie.

Put it in upside down on top, the yolk will dribble down through all the bits, soak into the waffles and such.

I think I'm going to have to try that Manwich at some point.

Probably just before being trapped on a desert island for 25 years, just to give me a headstart on the calorie front :)

    A rescue boat appears:

"My God! You've been marooned for 25 years, are you alright man?"

    "Not bad...bit full."

    Best Sandwich by miles is:

Slice of Chunky Bread with bits in
    Butter
    Mixed Salad
    Horseradish Sauce
Four slices of spicy peppered Salami
    Horseradish Sauce
Thick Wedges of mature Somerset Cheddar
    Butter
Slice of Chunky Bread with bits in

Although Lutz's sandwich (which seems suspiciously 'burgerey') sounds lovely. Waffles in burgers == amazing. But personally, I prefer using Branstons pickle in place of the beans. Less liable to dribble and the pickle chunks fit just as snugly into the waffle holes.

Diarylea and Branson pickle on slightly toasted bread works a storm when you're stoned.

I read that as Diarrohea and (Richard) Branson. Not a good mix tbh.

Give yourself ½ gig or a £, you're worth it.

Mature cheddar cheese and a fairly thick layer of butter between two chunky slices of fresh white bread. My favourite.

To think I used to eat those about four times a week as a student, and I was still wafer thin. On the other days I'd have a Ploughmans bap, with a similar cal count. Now I never eat anything like that and I'm still a fat (well flabby) bastard.

Answer to the thread, for me you can't go better than the classic hot bacon and brown sauce, maybe with a smidge of butter in there.

There's a shop down a small side street off Fenchurch Street that does salt beef and gherkin baps. £5 a pop, but my God they're lovely.

Fried sandwiches are usually the best, such as this one.

Get a suitable baquette, scoop out some of the bread for extra filling space, then add scrambled eggs mixed with tuna and mayo - delicious. Mushrooms and ham can also be added. Fills you up for the day.

And cheese, how could I forget cheese?!

I think I know this place. Pricey alright.

best toasty sandwiches in the world are sold in a tiny pub in the west of Ireland called "Brideys" near Derrynane beach in Kerry.
The ham is off the bone, the cheese is amazing and they go down so well with a pint that Guinness should sponsor them.

£5 for a takeaway sandwich is absolutely taking the piss, no matter how good it is. Unless it was steak or something valuable like that.
