I'm on the look out for some more chilled out electronica for the Summer.

Already a big fan of Air, Lemon Jelly, Mylo, Royksopp, etc, but looking for stuff I might have missed.

Just listened to a bit of Bentley Rhythm Ace which I last listened to about 10 years ago and really liked it.

Global Communications - 76:14 (in particular the remastered two-disc set)
The Big Chill is an excellent place to start - tons of reviews on there.
I'd also recommend the Back to Mine CD series, which are generally excellent.

Actually, think I've got some DJ Shadow somewhere, cheers for the reminder.

Will have to make a list of all this lot - EGers are bloody helpful people!

Anyone got any Bentley Rhythm Ace? Was considering getting one of their albums as it's only about a fiver.

Zen Cuts - Ninja Tune Retrospective is good.

The K&D Sessions is ace. The re-rubs of Bug Powder Dust and Heroes are particularly good.

I suggest some kind of therapy. :p

Don't worry, I can't get into Music Has The Right To Children and infinitely prefer The Campfire Headphase, so I've obviously got a screw loose as well!

They were shit, get any Boards Of Canada album instead. Most of the suggestions so far are worth a listen. I would add The Field and Burial (Not very summery though) albums to those as newer stuff you may like.

Early Kid Loco albums would fit the bill perfectly.

Does it have to be electronica?

The Bees, Morcheeba and Souths debut albums are all wonderful. Also Lambchop.

I've done a couple of laid back mixes that might be of interest. Might not.

    Here

    And here.

Second one might be a little too housey for you though.

This really. Seleceted Ambient Works 1 is one of the best albums to chill out to with a doob. Also, their album I Care Because You Do is another to get.
