Just watched this weeks gamer. tv on bravo2 (no gta 4 review yet) and the presenter said it was the last ever episode. this news seems to have come out of the blue to me. does anyone know why it's the end or is it changing to something else. Pity if it's finished as I enjoy it.

Yes - this week had some great new preview footage of Star Wars Force Unleashed playing as Darth vader.

I've just started watching this regularily thanks to Sky+, too :/

It was definately the best gaming show that's been on TV so far. Not too hard, that, mind! :D

    When you're 12, yes :)

I'd quite forgotten about Gamepad, that was decent too.

    /Still wants a gaming version of Film2008

Maybe they're just doing a rebranding or it's the end of a series and you misheard?

I've seen a different Gamer TV show on Bravo. Not a Gamers Guide to... but something else. It was voiced over by a rather annoying American chap and it seemed exactly the same as Gamer TV.

Bad Influence was the best. Especially with their 'data burst' at the end of each show.

If you can read this, you don't need glasses.

No I definately heard it right. This weeks episode is repeated a couple of time this weekend so check it out. Also the other program is Gamer. TV extra (the guy with the annoying aamerican voice) it covers stuff not in the main show.

Shame if it's true, I used to really enjoy Gamer.TV.

What's the Scottish internet games show programme thing that's meant to be good? I really should watch that at some point.

I watch a few bits of Xleague's stuff - I recommend Games Night, which is pretty cool - but they STILL don't have a decent proper review show. The channel's now rather bizarrely called Pulse, and showing half a day of motorsports...

G@me Network was alright for a time (even if the budget for each show was roughly a tenner). Then it just turned into infomercials and the occaisional bout of game footage set to music.

Bits - best gaming show ever. 4later version, not the watered down T4 shite.

Of course, everyone denies it. 'Proper' gamers seem to hate it, even though they'll go on for hours about how awesome Vidz was, despite being exactly the same format but with a hairy bloke and a Welshman instead of three sexy women.

As for Gamer.TV, it seems to have lost the plot recently. Too many 'behind the scenes and OMG EXCLUSIVE /wanks' episodes.

They should just show re-runs of Gamepad instead, with the odd episode of When Games Attack and Around The World in 80 Games with James Hetfield.

    Of course.

I like them but they're not very good as a videogame review show.
