    I don't have much to add apart from. I WANT TO PLAY THIS NOW!

    Being as I've just bought a PS3 there's something reassuring about the footage being of that system.

    Totally impressed and very happy with that trailer :)
    I one of the few that didn't really like the driving in GTA IV (I completed the game though) I'm up for arcade style, like SDogs and Saints series.

    Also looking forward to the online side. Had loads of fun with GTAIV, playing with chaps on this very site/thread. We had some brilliant games and just arsing about.

    Hopefully it's balanced so those who preferred the more realistic vehicle handling will still be satisfied.

    From that second article, it seems like we'll all be happy. This sounds great:

    In addition to the many cosmetic customization alterations such as body kits, paint jobs/finishes, wheels, exhaust tips, window tints, tire smoke color, bull-bars, extra lights, and lots of other extra accessories, we have modifications that will affect gameplay and vehicle performance. Some of the modifications that affect gameplay include brakes, engine tuning, suspension, horns, bulletproof tires, panel armor, and of course, a general repair! There are more than 1,000 modifications in total.

    they seem to have massively dealt with every single complaint about a GTA game ever

    for example, there were minor complaints that there wasn't enough to spend your money on in GTA IV. Now on top of cars, real estate and gambling theres a bloody stock market.

    @ecureuil

    I can only hope the handling is just a refined version of gta iv cause from what I saw in the trailer it's much towards arcade.

    Bit of unhappiness at the driving on the gtaforums also.

    Everything else looks amazing so I'm praying they haven't listened to all the whiny cry babies who couldn't take the time to learn how to drive in gta4

    I've already started my campaign to have all of the cars in the game replaced with giant turtles, and the main characters replaced with Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

    GTA4s superb handling is out so they did listen sadly, the handling for 5 is supposedly like an arcade racer. Not surprised at some grumbles on the driving, driving looked the weakest part of the trailer IMO but we'll see.

    GTA4 handling was OK but I never felt it was the right type of handling for GTA, I always felt the handling should be something akin to the kind of driving you saw in 60-70's cop shows. Power sliding round corners, handbrake turns, the inevitable pile of boxes you toppled. I'm not playing GTA for a driving simulation I'm here to have fun and the handling model once you got used to it was OK but I never felt like it was a lot of fun even once I got used to it.

    So, looks like Rockstar Leeds are on porting duties for PC.

    They've only done one on windows which is worrying but LA Noire was a fairly decent port other than the framerate cap (which to be fair was supposedly unavoidable due to the tech used for facial animations).
    The comments on that article are insane. They seem to think that being a port means it'll be terrible.

    The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

    @dsmx

    See I thought it was like "70's cop shows", At least I was power sliding and handbrake turning all over the place with a quick press of the cinema camera button for effect :)

    @bad09 Yeah but you had to brake for the corners, the speed should be scrubbed off as you do the power slide to get the feeling right.

    Anyone else noticed that there is the shadow of a fourth character in the brief moments that the character select wheel is shown...?

    I would suspect that the 4th person is the avatar you create for GTA online.

    Looking good from the gameplay trailer. I can see me doing a lot of parachuting. Maybe a lot of cycling too if the races are fun.

    Glad planes are back too.

    I'm old enough to know better, but still gave a minor laugh at the bawsaq stock market page.
