One spare for the game vs Reading, Upper Tier, open to offers above 25 (it's a 45 seat). Not 100% definite yet, but likely.

Only condition is that you'll have to come to the pub and drink with me and BillysBones before the game. :)

PM me if interested - regulars only preferred....

If it wasn't a 12.45 kickoff (and on Sky Sports HD1) I'd be much more tempted. I did actually get half-way to typing the PM before I decided against it.

It's just that I have a particularly heavy night planned tonight and the chances of my wanting to make the trip to the Emirates before lunch are incredibly slim.

The chances of me wanting to curl up on the sofa with a lucozade in one hand and my head in the other are far higher.

    LOL, fair enough.

I've got to leave at 7.50am to make it (well, get to the pub for opening anyway). Not happy, but what you gonna do?!

I would, but for the following reasons:
    1) You said regulars preferred; I'm not regular (need more fibre)
    2) I live in Ireland and it's a bit short notice to fly over to England for tomorrow to meet 2 strangers who may possibly leave me in a ditch somewhere sans wallet and/or clothes.

Hope this is a good enough reason for you Dougs, if not for the above I'd be on that ticket like a shot :)

Nah, I've seen you about mate, reg enough. More people who drop in who I have no idea who they are (more of a problem on footall boards tbh).

As for your other point...depends how much cash you had in your wallet.

    /Checks out SJ Rogers thread...

Hey Dougs did you get anyone to buy the ticket?
Looked a good game, although we could have had 5 in the first half. What was the atmosphere at the Grove like? Looked a bit empty on the telly early on.

As it happens... I did end up going.

I was in the pub on the Friday night and a guy a vaguely know offered me a free ticket, lift to and from the ground and a guarantee of a hotdog and some Bovril at half-time...

So I crumbled and decided to miss meeting my aunt at my parents house :{D>

First time at the Grove - I really enjoyed it! Very amusing crowd and I love the Clichy chant :)

The day charity died - NEVER FORGET

(the mic was OK in the end)

Blimey w00t, I'd watch out for that repayment!

Yeah, sorry TH. Even my nephew wasn't interested. Or rather, couldn't afford it.
