    @Widge I went to a great one (I think it was band on the wall) which had everything from students to pensioners dancing away. Brilliant night

    IMPRESSIVE LOLS. At 34 I still require ID apparently, and didn't really want to spend nigh on Ł60 in taxis to go home and back again to fetch my expired passport.

    Ah well. I've got enough nights coming up anyway. Saytek is coming to Manchester soon and a little jaunt down to Fabric in August.

    Not new but all this Daft Punk talk has got me listening to Hybrid again for some proper music.

    I temporarily forgot how amazing this is

    @HairyArse You didn't mention Leftfield, but given your list there's no way you're not familiar with them! You no like? Still love Leftism.

    Also, introduce yourself to Northern Exposure 1 and Renaissance 1 for some historic value.

    @HairyArse

    Try this effort when it comes out. Got a review copy and it is quite unique.

    Oh yeah. I have both Leftfield albums. They're alright, but the fact I didn't instantly recall them tells you all you need to know.

    Bob. Never listened properly to Rokysopp as any tracks I heard of theirs on the radio were always annoying but might stick a couple of their albums on a Grooveshark playlist tonight and give them a bash.

    I've got a 1080p rip of the concert in 5.1. Never watched it or listened to it properly yet, though.

    Tried Crystal Method in the past but didnt get on with them. Too American sounding if that makes any sense.

    Don't mind some of BT's stuff either.

    Speedy J & Lucy's Zeitgeber album is something if you fancy being challenged in an Autechre style.

    Very alien, and not really what you'd expect from the meeting of two techno powerhouses.

    Weather's warmer, I'm becoming a cliché.

    Best beat music for a summers day? Nothing brash, too frenetic, too overt. I'm thinking Two Months Off being the most extravagant end of this scale.

    Stuff like Berlin by Modselektor. Any tips?

    (I should really just get more Pretty Lights)
