|Think I'll bag me the witcher as got the rest. If I didn't though then I would. Dark souls is, well, the best game ever created and blood dragon is most definitelyworth a play. If not for the soundtrack alone!|

Are my credits on Xbox Live on the 360 also available to be spent on the Xbox One?
All these games, reminds me that I shouldn't bother with a new console for 12 months.

Picked up Blood Dragon and BattleBlock Theater. And yeah, proper bargain that is for Dark Souls.
+1 on the love for Dark Souls. The best single player game of this generation in my opinion. £3.74 for it makes it possibly the best bargain ever on the XBox 360.

Hey so I have like 4 bucks on my XBL account from when the points changed to monies. If I buy Dark Souls will I be charged the 1 buck extra or the whole 5 bucks? If I try to buy it it shows me the 5 buck price not the differential.
You can choose to pay most of the charge with your funds available Just go to pay ad it will offer to allow you to use the remaining funds on your account before charging the rest via card or Paypal. You do have to go quite far into the payment process to get the option though.
Picked up Battleblock, Blood Dragon and, on a complete whim, The Whitcher.
The latter is a bit of a gamble as I'm don't have the time for RPGs and don't really like open world games. It does sound interesting though and I like games with a strong identity. I enjoyed Lost Odyssey despite not really being a JRPG fan. Fingers crossed it clicks when O get round to it in 2017.
Genuinely embarrassing array of games in my unplayed library. Only going to get worse as being a new dad has shaved my gaming time to an absolute minimum.
It's pretty good, mainly due to a Ubisoft sale open to everyone, not just gold members.
Would thoroughly recommend From Dust and Beyond Good & Evil
SkyDrift - £4.99 (DLC also on sale)
• Beyond Good & Evil HD - £1.68
• Call of Juarez: Gunslinger - £2.49
• CloudBerry Kingdom £1.68

• Outland - £1.68
• Rayman 3 HD £1.68
• Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - £1.68 (DLC also on sale)
• Assassin's Creed III - £16.74 (+DLC)
• Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WW2 £2.24
• Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood £2.24 (+DLC)
• Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier £4.49 (+DLC)
• Just Dance 4 £17.49
• Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands £2.99
• Rayman Raving Rabbids - £2.24
• Shaun White Snowboarding - £2.24 (+DLC)
• Gears of War 2 £7.49
• Gears of War 3 - £14.99 (Season Pass £9.99)
• Ace Combat: Assault Horizon - £7.49 (+DLC)
• Air Conflicts: Secret Wars £4.94

Hmm. Do I bother with CoJ 2 though...

That's a pretty great sale by Ubisoft, picked up Cloudberry Kingdom and CoJ: Gunslinger for the total of £4.17, I'd have been happy with just one of those for that price. More of this sort of thing please!

Must resist purchases...
Oh sod it.. From Dust you say?
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands may well be a couple of years old, but for a penny under £3, it is a ridiculously silly bargain!
... I paid £20 for the very same game a few years ago and had a wonderful time. Quite lovely visuals too.
@CharlieStCloud just thinking about that very game. Quite fancied it.
Better than tomb raider?
As long as you are aware that it is a short but oh-so sweet journey, you'll be glad to have played it come the moment the credits roll. You could quite happily play this game in approximately six or seven one hour bite sized chunks before going onwards to pursue the last boss.
... and yes, it is!
Sounds perfect. That's a sale!
Damn I really must stop adding to my backlog.

Thanks for the update - just purchased Beyond Good and Evil (never played it on the PS2 - what was I doing?) and Raving Rabbids (for my girlfriend's little nephew and niece).
EDIT: you can add From Dust to that list.
Damn you for talking up Prince of Persia, too! Jaysus - even Outlander looks great - I remember enjoying the demo. This is like the Steam sale...only not!

Also - it says I have around £1.30 left in my account from the 'points to pounds' switch-over from a few months ago. Can I not use these towards a purchase? The option doesn't seem to be there.
Sorry - spamming this thread now!
Could someone please confirm the age rating for PoP: Forgotten Sands? Amazon (and everywhere else) states that it's a '12', which is fine (and can be played with aforementioned little people) - but Xbox.com is saying that it's a 16.
Deckard1 wrote:Weirdly her little nephew refuses to play anything other than 12-rated games and under - even when his Mum has okayed it (Fable 2, Halo etc). Sweet - but also 'kinda' creepy.
There's nothing in there that wouldn't be ok for little kids imo. There's sword fighting but it's against sand monster things.
There's a rape scene but it's very brief.
Oh well - his loss! I think I'll buy it for myself - the disc drive is going on my old Arcade model so it'll be nice to have a few extra games on the HDD.

It's actually surprisingly great. Some great platforming later I'm the game once you've unlocked all the special abilities
That's annoying. I just bought a copy of Forgotten Sands for $15
its $4.99 in this sale.
CoJ: Gunslinger was my favorite FPS from last year so I definitely recommend it for the price
shame there's no Far Cry 3. I've been looking for a good deal on that one.
@Rodney There was a good deal of FC3 back in the spring sale I think as I got it then for really cheap, so sure there will be another one!
Do we not get a good sale early in the new year or something if I remember?
Now. I really want to know whether to get CoJ: Bound in Blood or Gunslinger along with PoP: Forgotten Sands... I played a demo of both and actually preferred Bound in Blood, Gunslinger hurt my eyeballs. But then Gunslinger is meant to be so good.
Sales, the bane of my life.
Well, them and piles.

Bound in Blood is okay but essentially it is a clunky COD-clone with a Western skin/theme.
I preferred Gunslinger. Its more arcadey and its great fun stringing together combos. The stylized graphics look great too.

A good sale from the looks of it, I'll pick up Call of Juarez at that price. Is Rayman 3 any good as well?
I also highly recommend Outland at that price for any Metroidvania fans.
I tried Outland last time it was on sale, and thought it was nice enough, but not worth the 600 points or so cost, particularly with a backlog of 20 odd games.
Will try it again I think, and at this rate I'll won't need to buy a PS4/Xbone before the PS5 / Xbtwo come out!
Had a shot of the demo of Outland, seemed really good. Can see that I'll end up getting it as well. Still have Mark of the Ninja to play through so it'll give me a nice couple of high quality platformers to play for a change to 3rd/FPS's.
@Rodney You've convinced me, added Gunslinger to my purchases along with PoP instead of Bound in Blood.
@dancingrob That's like me as well. I reckon I've got enough to see me for about two years!
Outland got strong reviews and feedback on the EG forums, but the game left me cold for some reason. Art style was nice enough, and the light/dark mechanic okay, but it just felt soullessly executed...
It's not a patch on the likes of Limbo, Braid, Fez - those top quality indi XBLA titles..
