Homecoming's the worst of the post-SH4 spin-offs. It's like the devs had absolutely no fucking clue about what they were working with and it shows.

    Don't waste your money.

Watch the Two Best Friends playthrough of it on Youtube. They sum everything up perfectly.

Anyone played Out of the shadows, has the atmosphere or the newTMNT (2000 versions not the 2013 turtles) and the original 1990 movie, also seems to be a good solid beat emup with plenty of depth, if you're a turtle fan it's worth checking out.

I'd still prefer full on shell shaded 1984 turtles but I think it's time to accept the Arcade game and turtles in time are the best we're ever going to see for that era of turtles.

the traditional half decent sale we get post summer of arcade I guess!

Monaco strikes me as the big 'new' sale, but I didn't get on with the demo at all.

I'm also waiting for the other ME3 stuff to go on sale, along with the rally expansion for Forza Horizon, Season Pass price is far too high at present...

dancingrob - definately wait for a sale on the Forza Horizon Rally expansion. I love Forza Horizon, but the Rally dlc is not actually that good - it's really just a few new point-to-point time trials with super-skiddy handling. There are no races or weather, no new free-roam areas or anything like that.

Monaco is extra tempting now. I would have bought it already, but only have two working controllers at the moment, which limits the couch co-op...

Anybody else find everything looks more expensive in real money than MS points...?!

Indeed, I've not picked Blood Dragon up yet either - and I bought 4200 points at cut-down price from a fellow EGer just this morning so my "real money" MS wallet is feeling fat. :)

Monaco is probably in my top 3 xbla games, must have played it 25+ hours in co op. If you can get co op buddy then I thoroughly recommend it.

It starts off a bit hectic, running around, setting alarms off and being chased by guards. But after 10 or so levels, the difficulty begins to rise. The guards are more dangerous and more planning is required to get through the levels.

By the last few levels, it was taking nearly 60 minutes to complete them (and getting all coins). We had to co ordinate our moves, scouting out an area before moving in, and timing our dashes perfectly. The sense of achievement when you finish one of the more difficult levels is utterly brilliant.

The charm of the game is wonderful too, each level feels unique. You face a different challenge entering a casino compared to a bank, for example, and you can tell the difference, even though it is top down.

Might not be the best single player game, but the best co op game on the 360 imo

Omega was on offer the other month and its a little annoying they have yet to put the last one on offer yet.

From Ashes was dropped from 800 to 560 at one point, but I held out for 400. That was about a year ago...

Thanks, Baihu. I skipped Omega because of the reviews!

As we're on the topic of ME3, I logged into my EA account this week to make sure everything was all linked up across my systems (I was investigating the possibility of buying £5 ME3 on PC with From Ashes included and it then working on 360 - short answer, no, despite this method working for ME2 DLC) and it told me I'd spent 92 hours in ME3 multiplayer. I knew I'd played it a lot, but that was a bit surprising. If you haven't given it a whirl yet because, like me, you simply thought it was unnecessary gubbins, I suggest giving it a chance.

Oof, the new Full House Poker is a bit choppy! I hope the lack of infinite chips helps with the play though and people not just betting on anything.

@andytheadequate I hope you're right. Picked it up half price and gave it a bash on my own last night. Only did the first 3 levels. I was expecting a bit more from all the glowing reviews. Seemed like a bit of a confusing mad dash. Or perhaps I was just playing it wrong. I've persuaded a mate to give it a go for some co-op tonight - hopefully it will make a bit more sense then...

@MrTomFTW Yus, WSOP:Full House Poker (or summat). F2P with the usual trimmings. Seems ok but it's very stuttery. As far as I'm aware you get a certain amount of chips per day and when they're gone, they're gone. Unless you reach into your wallet. At least I hope it's that, it'll help control the all inners on a pair of 2s.
