Yeah, lots of people on my list who barely touch XBLA. Madness.

State of Decay looks pretty interesting as does the future MMO that it teases - http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-04-15-open-world-zombie-base-building-game-state-of-decay-due-june-on-xbla-and-pc

I know of a number of people that think of xbla as a novelty type thing and are clueless to the fact that there are some serious games in there. It doesn't matter how much I tell them though they still run off to Cod or Forza. If there was a little more to show off the new releases on xbla and better descriptions for the games I think more people would start pulling their wallets out.

Lost count on how many times Ive seen people put on forums that XBLA games are not 'real games' I mean 1 what the hell does that even mean? And 2 they clearly haven't looked at the service since it first started and was just a few ports of old arcade games.

Ive actually bought more off XBLA than retail over the last 3 odd years because i find XBLA the best place to get different games rather than a bunch of titles copying one another.

Is I Am Alive any good? It's the only one there that interests me.

If you can read this, you don't need glasses.

Does Gotham City still have a decent online turnout?

Also is EDF worth the time if I loved the last one. Offline co-op?

It's all right. Not great, not terrible. It was fun for a bit, but I gave up on it after a while.

Probably. It's fun for a bit, and then gets a bit tiresome.

Recently bought it at that price - an absolute steal, would pay 5 times that!

Thinking of picking up either Ikaruga or Radiant Silvergun - any suggestions?

Yeah, I'm still trying to get to grips with properly (it can get pretty chaotic!), but am absolutely loving it.

Think I'm going to drop 800 points on God Mode today. Played the trial last night and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I came in to post about God Mode too. I think it's got potential. The modifiers are great. Each time you start a new arena, the gameplay changes. Enemies might get smaller, there could be fog so you can't see as much, you explode when you die and so on.

EDIT: Haven't bought it yet. Will try friends list to see if anyone else will get it.

So, God Mode is The Club meets Serious Sam meets God of War...?

Picked it up. Had points sitting there for weeks doing nothing. Note that you can play solo, by default, if you create your own match. There wasn't anyone around to co-op with when I first sat in the lobby.

I haven't played Radiant Silvergun but Ikaruga is fantastic, if quite hard.

Where'd it come from? Got it, is good fun. Looks like harder difficulties will be proper challenging.

    No scoring, though?

    add me for games!

    I bought God Mode.

    EDIT:

It seems quite sensitive to people leaving mid-match, or at least Internet connection issues. A few times I've been left with other players running around, but monsters standing still and invincible.

Yes, it doesn't like people quitting - or some people quitting, anyway.

Luckily the levels aren't too long, so I've only had what you described once out of about 7 runs.

I think they view 'end-game' as Gold + Oaths. Seems really odd that they don't have a score attack element to it, it's made for it.
