Hope they actually reduce Dragonborn this time, wasn't that promised before but never materialized?
Is any of the Max Payne dlc worth getting or even the season pass? Saying that, I haven't even played the main game after picking it up on the cheap recently.
Might pick up Just Cause 2 as well if the price is right, though my GoD backlog is getting shameful...

Thanks I will. Yet another game staring at me demanding some attention *sigh*
If you don't have a gaming PC, Just Cause 2 is a lovely game to have sat on the HDD to dive into whenever. (Although to be fair, my modest laptop runs it better than the 360 version - it really does scale fantastically on PC, so I'd recommend trying whatever JC2 demos are available to you)
Strange how I wasn't tempted by 800MSP SSFIV: Arcade the other week, but I'm quite drawn to the possibility of upgrading my SSFIV copy to Arcade for 600MSP. I don't even like fighting games. Hmmmm. Will have to think on this.

Registered 10 years agoHmm, can't remember JC2 install size, but I think it's one of those odd cases like Skyrim, which seems like a huge game but only takes up 4Gb or something.
So tempting to get JC2 again - many happy memories, although I remember there being some discussion at the time about playing on Casual if you kept getting killed, because the damage taken can be punishing on Normal and out-and-out silly on whatever the hard diffuculty was called. -

Registered 9 years agoYeah, I seem to remember JC2 being around 4.2gb or something. -
Ah, cool.
I do remember some chat in the forum when it was released about how hard it was on some setting so normal will be my first option.
I'm normally terrible with those types of games (apart from sleeping dogs) as I get so far and leave it until it gets part exchanged or lent out for all eternity. If I have this on my HDD then at least it will get finished at some point.

Registered 10 years agoMmmm, Terraria coming to XBLA this week
www.xblafans.com/tag/terraria
I'm very curious to see what all the fuss is about, but... probably because I laughed when L_Franko had 1030 points and needed 1040, I've only got 1150 points and I'll need 1200.
I wonder if it will do a Skulls Of The Shogun style quick reduction?

Registered 2 years agoIf you have a pc, terraria is £1.50 at the moment so it might be worth giving it a go for that price and seeing if you like it. Gould always buy it on xbla to play with friends if you like it. -
Yeah, I bought Terraria for about £2 years ago, so the thought of paying 1200 points is laughable.

Yup! I'm all over half-price Dragonborn. Almost bought it full price a couple of weeks back.
Finally some good discounts on the Skyrim DLC though. -

Registered 2 years agoAnyone tried out the Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge demo? Bizarrely, it just freezes my whole Xbox upon launching. It fades to black and then stays there. Tried multiple times and even redownloaded the thing but I'm having the same results

Registered 2 months agoBack in xbox land and liking the look of Joe Danger...bit unsure which one to get the Special Edition of the first one or the newer Joe Danger The Movie, whilst the latter option would seem the obvious choice some people seem to think the first one is better. As they are both the same price I'm a tad unsure...have downloaded both trials and have to say I like them both but the first one seems a tad clearer and less cluttered really. Opinions please. -

Registered 2 months agoCheers...that's the inkling I'm getting from the trials as well. Hopefully people are still playing it for some leaderboard hijinks!
If anybody wants to add me its Koshares. Just come back to live and Xbox in general after a lengthy break so is a new account. -

Picking up Bioshock tomorrow but fancy something to play tonight/as an alternative to Bioshock.
Are there any stone cold classics that everyone agrees is a must have? Looking at Beyond Good and Evil atm. -

Registered 2 years agoTrials, minecraft, shadow complex and mark of the ninja are the best games on xbla imo, the ones that everyone should try.
I have some good scores on Joe Danger but I don't really bother with leaderboards. I did manage to get number 1 in the world at one point on the hardest track in the second game, getting 15x the score of the guy in second, but that didn't last long...

It's broken on XBLA if you use the correct head tilt setting (forwards = head tilt forwards, back = head tilt back, aka "invert" ) - for some reason it also makes left = right and right = left. So try the trial.

In fact, on XBLA, try the trial for everything. Everything has a trial. Why not?

Despite imamazed's stern tone, I do sort of agree with him. BG&E XBLA was the game that finally got me out of invert controls. For ages I found myself in a strange place where I'd play some 3rd person titles with invert but not others. The switching back and forward from/to Jade's camera finally settled me on 'standard' controls.
It's been a little while since I've played an FPS mind, so I could be in for a painful transition next time I get my hands on a Halo title. I fear my ninja skills (lots of dying with slightly more killing) may suffer...
