Does anyone know what 8.99 is in microsoft points? I have 1030ms points on my account and I wouldn't mind playing Sleeping Dogs again.
    1040

    Hahaha.
You're taking the piss, aren't you? Aren't you? Don't make me Kung Fu kick you.
    That is brilliant!

I can confirm it is 1040 as I looked at buying Sleeping Dogs with the Points I just received for the Now TV deal.

Oh yeah! I really should try and remember that more often.
Right, time to fill out a question form thingy.
See, the points you accrue now won't be paid for a month, which is why you should keep up to date with it all the time.

Maybe you should buy 1200 MS points, then you could afford TWO 8.99 games!

Bah! It said the points will be ith you shortly. I guess not shortly enough!

Well this whole thing has just taken a heaping dump all over my enthusiasm for the day.

Or you could top up with a couple of hundred points off game for two quid or something?

If these sales aren't a big friggin smoke signal that the nextbox isn't back-compat, I don't know what is.

I'll just keep my 360 and not buy the new one. Bobs yer uncle.

This. Unless Dark Souls 2 (Demon Souls 3?) is an exclusive then I'm doomed.

Microsoft have never shown a single interest in games on demand or matching sony/steam for value. Of course since its the end of this generation why not eventually offer sales and make money.

Next xbox won't be backwards compatible this was expected anyway

Ah, bloody hell! How long did the Now TV points take to come? Just noticed my billing info on my Xbox profile is my old address. Do Sky send them or MS? Sky have the new address on my billing info.

@Dave_McCoy Mine came through 4 days ago (all 2400) and I began the trial subscription on about the 14th Jan I think.

CheapAssGamer have also found a link in the CSS to a hidden "April Fools Deal" icon, suggesting there might be extra-special deals on April 1st.

    And today's releases are apparently:

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - 1200 MSP
    Alien Spidy - 800 MSP

Signal Studios are doing a closed beta for Ascend: New Gods, their free-to-play action RPG thing. You can sign up here for a chance to give it a whirl early.

It sounds kind of interesting, but we'll have to wait and see how they deal with the whole 'free to play' aspect. I've signed up anyway - nothing ventured, etc. :)

    Next week's sale revealed.

Not much to get excited about, sadly, apart from a repeat of the 'all five Walking Dead episodes for 800 points' deal from Christmas. If you missed that then you should absolutely get it. First episode's free again, too.

I think the first episode has always been free, since that seasonal discount.

Gotta say its underwhelming. Considering that max Payne 3 and resident evil 6 were in the last sale.

Think I'll get the walking dead episodes (have the 1st one for free) and maybe just cause 2.

Last Skyrim DLC shall be mine (as long as they don't pull it again)!

All the eurogamers who actually play with each other on xbl rather than just post pseudointellectual pc handwringing bollocks on the forums, love the shit out of biggy.

Hope they actually reduce Dragonborn this time, wasn't that promised before but never materialized?

Is any of the Max Payne dlc worth getting or even the season pass? Saying that, I haven't even played the main game after picking it up on the cheap recently.

Might pick up Just Cause 2 as well if the price is right, though my GoD backlog is getting shameful...

Yeah, was looking a Just Cause 2 as well. I think the kids will like that.

Also, Dead Rising 2. Though probably not for the kids.

JC2's rather good, I had a lot of fun with it way-back-when. No idea whether it's aged well or not, though.

JC2 on PC also has the multiplayer mod, woop!
The singleplayer game is also huge - I played a lot, finished the main story, about 35% complete overall.

I could be tempted into JC2 as I never got round to playing it and I've always wanted to.
