It does. Great fun, especially with more than 2 players. Just make sure bailout finishes are on!

    @ModishNouns
Can anyone recommend some good xbla or indie games I can play with the kids? Simultaneous two player would be nice.
I wonder how the younger generation would view Toejam & Earl without the nostalgia factor? Could be worth trying the demo.

How about Spelunky? Might be a little too difficult for a five-year-old. It's too brutal for me, most of the time!

'Spolsion Man / Ms. 'Spolsion Man - my nephew (8) and niece (5) have played the original together. It pushes the limits of her abilities, mind.

You've also got some decent boardgame adaptations: Risk Factions is great, as is Carcassonne. Depends on their tastes and patience, mind.

Hopefully a few ideas in there for you.

    Why look, it's a blog:

My 5 year old also likes Crash Course, so well worth picking up as a freebie, even if it's slightly too difficult for her.

Kinect Party is great with that age group and ideal for multiplayer, if more of a toy than a game.

Avatar Drop (or "Falling Daddy" as my 3y.o. calls it, Crash Course is "Running Daddy") is a massive hit in my house. It's basically just your avatar falling down a hole. But never fails to generate laughs with the kids. And it's only 80 Microsoft Bojangles.

    I'd recommend Burnout Crash.
It was a disappointment for everyone expecting a proper new Burnout game but it's great for kids: It is loud and colourful, has easy controls and a cartoon flair to it and can range from easy to taxing depending on how many stars you go for per level.

Squadron Scramble is an 80MSP indie game, like one of those old 2D dogfighting games but you can play up to 8 player, co-op or versus.

Depends how old your kids are I guess, mind you I remember playing games like this when I was about 6 or 7 and I loved them!

Discount on the Mass Effect From Ashes DLC is pathetic as well, which is annoying as I'd quite like to see what that character adds to the story on my second playthrough, but find that price for 30 minutes of gameplay quite insulting.

All the eurogamers who actually play with each other on xbl rather than just post pseudointellectual pc handwringing bollocks on the forums, love the shit out of biggy.

IIRC Skulls of the Shogan releases today? Will probably check the demo out to see what all the hype and fuss has been about.

That probably means there is only about a year left until they turn the servers off!

Talking of EA, the Games On Demand version of SSX, in the publisher sale for £8.99, somehow includes the Online Pass, so you don't have to pay any extra money to get the functionality it locks out - earning ingame credits from the Global Events list.

Aye I loved Advance Wars, even if the animations, sound effects, characters, hell pretty much the entire game annoyed the shit out of me. I still sunk hundreds of hours into it.

tried the demo on the phone, which I liked, but feel it's probably a game I'd rather play on a big screen, so have demoed that too.

Am I imaging things, or is this a 1200 points, reduced to 800 temporarily game?

That actually would not surprise me. I dunno, I just fancied a gentle golf game to tool about in, ideally with friends.

As for the online pass, it would be rather harsh not to include it with GoD releases wouldn't you say. But then...it is EA.

Think you are imagining things. Still showing up as 1200 points on the xbox website.

Hmm, not sure. I paid 1200 for it, but that was from the website not the dash. Annoying if that's the case. Not too fussed though, as it's really enjoyable so far.

Is this the most recent Snowboarding game to come out or was there one after it last year?

Either way I want it now and its all down to you pointing it out. I was happy not knowing there was a snowboarding game out there for £8.99 including online pass, damn it!
