I read the other day that it was in certification for Live, so it could be but it seems unlikely now.

Hooray! Sonic Adventure 2! Was kinda hoping for NiGHTS as well though. And thought THPS HD would be on there since it's on the PSN sale. Oh well.

If The Walking Dead is usually 400 points an episode and the first episode is free, does that suggest we'll be able to pick the whole thing up on the 28th for 4x200 points? i.e. 800 points for the entire game?

    Off to order some points.

I hope the list is accurate, there are some nice offerings in the lot. Thanks MWB on CAG, whatever that is.

Free stuff and things that people want and haven't been on sale a billion times before, are Microsoft finally getting the message?

CAG is Cheap Arse/Ass Gamer. Cool site!

    Edit:
And this CAG post includes links to all the official Microsoft pages, so it appears that everything listed above is confirmed as genuine. Rah!

@PatrickEwing - I don't think so, but if you have a smartphone you can access the marketplace though the browser.

If that is true then it will be Christmas come ear... well three days late but you get the point. Awesome deal!

I'll never get my Orc looking the same again.

Um, I know this is probably fuelled by nostalgia, but is Frogger Hyper Arcade Edition any good?

I'm almost tempted to get points for the lego games as our son might like them.

Which skyrim DLC is worth it? I may get that some time soon-ish and lose all spare gaming time to it in summer, so may feel some pre-emptive purchasing coming on. :)

The links in the CAG forum post go to xbox.com sale pages (but with current prices of course), so it seems legit. However as with everything MS, I will believe it when I see it ;)

I mean is it going to be 50% like everyone seems to think or random discounts like bugger all off decent stuff and loads off the dregs?

That thought hadn't even begun thinking of crossing my mind ;) But hey! a discount is a discount :) (even if it isn't much)

Kinect Party for free is confirmed at least.

Have you not got any Lego® games? It's definitely worth having one or possibly two. I'd recommend the Lego Star Wars Complete, except that it's more expensive than the others, and has been fairly cheap on disc in the past (it's in my collection, so it must have been £8ish).

I had Lego Star wars the complete trilogy, but gave sold it since our little one was too small. He's over 5 now and would probably be more able to play stuff like that.

He's recently been allowed to use a DS, which still may be more suitable. I think the 360 pad is still a little bit large for his hands to hold and use comfortably.

@Vortex808 - The Lego games are way more fun on a home-console, mainly because of the proper drop-in/out co-op. Playing together is more fun! If you've got a five-year old he should be able to handle the Lego games (although my 5 year old has an 8 year old "example" he learn a lot from) and if not, you can just join in and help him :)

We also have a couple of Lego games on the DS, but for some reason it just doesn't "click" with my kids.

I was hoping for Nights and Minecraft in the Christmas sales, but Jet Set Radio and Mark of the Ninja were also on my wishlist so I'm happy.

And I should have enough points on my account already. :)

    Fez is a definite

I have Mark of the Ninja lined up for a trial, so will try that out one evening soon.

Must also get around to playing Eps4/5 of Walking Dead before they release the whole lot on sale. Pesky crashes...

    lol :)

Oh man - maybe, just maybe I will dedicate next year to not buying any new games and finish all the bargain hunted ones I have clogging my harddrives and shelves.

Even if they are on sale for 10 MSP I must say NO!

But Walking Dead and Fez.....they have to be snapped up...

Everybody should just calm down a little bit and have a nice cup of tea.

Nice list, got most stuff I would want already but Walking Dead is tempting, not sure about the game play but everyone seems to love it.
