That is a bargain but, having registered to get them, I've just been advised that customers who haven't bought a boxed/physical delivery product from ShopTo are not allowed to get digital download goods. Just ridiculous really.

Annoyingly, I'm sure I've bought something from them before (a long time ago, admittedly), but don't think I set up an account. -

Actually, I was surprised - so much so that I trawled my emails looking for an old a/c confirmation, but to no avail. Certain I've bought from them before but possibly under an old email address, or maybe without registering for an a/c.
I'm surprised you've been at EG so long without using them!
Tend to get most of my games through Amazon, Play, and Zavvi. Despite the latter's poor rep, I must've bought 10-15 titles from them and never had a problem (to date).
Next time ShopTo have something decent boxed I'll make sure I buy it through them to avoid future disappointment on deals like these. Why look, it's a blog:

@Dave_McCoy Yeah, tried two cards. One debit and one credit. Both failed. It's strange, I've bought from them recently without issue.

Anyone confirm?Everybody should just calm down a little bit and have a nice cup of tea.

Clicked on a couple of random games from 2-3 years ago, and they were all still £14.99, and a couple of newish games, which were both still £29.99 -

Boo!
I missed this the last time it was on sale for 600...I know that 800 is still a pretty good deal, but it's just past the instabuy threshold (still have enough other stuff to play, like BG&E from last years sale...) -

Registered 10 years agoI think Microsoft have groomed the user base into their sales or lack of. Works I suppose, you don't wait for price drops or when you get one, it's bad but better than nothing. Opposite of Steam, sale or nothing most of the time, wait longer even better. -

GTA IV stuff all reduced again
Burnout Crash also down to 400 MSP. Seem to remember that has a couple of fans on here.
Nothing for me, but can't complain after several half decent weeks of late. -

Registered 3 years agonew deals now live
Deadliest Warrior / Dragon's Lair for DOTW. Utterly uninterested in both, but I think they're both 'new' sales
XBLA
Deadliest Warrior: The Game - 800 MSP 400 MSP
Deadliest Warrior: Legends - 800 MSP 400 MSP
DLC
Expansion Pack 1 in Deadliest Warrior: The Game - 400 MSP 200 MSP
Joan of Arc in Deadliest Warrior: Legends - 240 MSP 120 MSP
Kinect Central
Dragon's Lair - 800 MSP 400 MSP
For Sales & Specials Scratch & Match, we have reasonably decent games, although again nothing of interest for me personally.
Daytona USA - 800 MSP 400 MSP
Space Channel 5 Part 2 - 800 MSP 400 MSP
SEGA Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage - 800 MSP 400 MSP
Batman:AC DLC also cements it's position as the new Risk Factions / Guardian of Light as it's on Chain Reaction this time. -

Registered 10 years agoThere's also a big Ubisoft publisher sale available through the dashboard, featuring reductions on all the Assassin's Creed games and DLC, Splinter Cell: Conviction for £8.99 on games on demand, and loads of 400 off or half-price offers on a bunch of other stuff like Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes and DLC, From Dust, Outland and all the other stuff that is regularly discounted. It has a tab on the dashboard and everything!
I think Both Deadliest Warrior games have been reduced before, @dancingrob - they're actually pretty nifty, bloodthirsty little fighting games, and something of a bargain if you've got a pal you can have some fights with. It's not so much about the move set, more about using the relatively few moves in a test of timing and skill. Plus you can lop off arms, legs and heads in glutinous sprays of claret. They're not the sort of games you buy if you just want some cheap achievements though, as many of them are nails. -

Registered 6 years agoGuardians is very good, a very well put together MOBA designed for console. It's as deep as you'd like, but if you're not a huge strategist you might be able to fudge your way through

/throwing money at screen.
I freaking love strategy games on 360. More please. I have a PC for them too, but there's something so... quaint about playing them on 360 - and they work, too!
Jive, I'll play it with you if ye get it (and I like the demo...)
+ RUSE SOMETIME AGAIN YES???

Registered 3 years agoI still haven't really got my head round what a MOBA is!
Is it essentially co-op multiplayer RTS, or is there more to it than that? -
That's it, yup - except you control one character. The depth comes in the specific talents and unlocks of that character, and then the complement of heroes your team has.
Just watched the review - do want to try, very much. I love strategy games where you are allowed to really nerd out on unit combinations/talents/skills and the like. Essentially well balanced rock-scissors-paper-water-fire-gunpowder-flashbang. See you on it, Jive!
Anyone else who has it, add me/yell.
