Registered 5 years agonope... BUT I JUST FOUND OUT THAT AM GOING TO GLASTONBURY!! FOR FREE!! GET THE FUCK IN!!
/full 30 minute happy dance
I've worked there loads before but lost out on the place last year. But a friend of a friend runs a confessional in the circus field and one of his nuns has dropped out this afternoon. I get in for free, I get backstage camping, I have to do 1 x 2hr shift a day as a comedy nun and the whole thing is only open from 10-6pm each day! HURRAH!
/continues happy dancePlaying all the right notes— but not necessarily in the right order.

LOLno. I am going in a double decker bus apparently, just have to get myself to Coventry and then start grinning. cannot believe this, I am always gutted when I don't get to go but it's worse this year as for once there are tons of bands I actually want to see. Bands I never thought I'd ever see. I'm never there for the bands normally, I'm there for the fun.localnotail wrote:

Have to get my shift in early Saturday as the Pyramid Stage Saturday from 14:50 to 19:15 is the awesome lineup of Spinal Tap, Dizzie Rascal and then Crosby Stills & Nash. With Neil Young the night before... if CSNY reformed for one night I would would explode from joy \o/
then over to the Other Stage for Maximo Park, Pendulum & and then (chemically dependent) off to the John Peel Stage for Jarvis Cocker, or the East Stage for 2 Many DJs...
. and that's just Saturday!

Registered 10 years agoThat time of year again....Isle of Wight Festival began today. Not a stellar line up but still some decent acts - headliners are Jay-Zee, The Strokes, and Paul McCartney. Not going this year, what with a 4 week old baby and all. Missus is gutted to be missing Pink though -

So if you like Dance music, why don't you have a ticket? Sun looks lie it might shine. No traffic jams, good transport and usually a decent crowd (i.e. fuck all kiddie winks). -

Registered 10 years agoSo, the IW Festival is almost on us. And it's going to piss down for 3 days. The only blessing is that I can head home to a warm shower, clean clothes etc and do it all again the next day! Still can't wait though. -

What lunatics would schedule Foo Fighters and The Chemical Brothers at the same time?
I can't decide. -
I've heard good things of Sigzet. Isn't it on some massive island in middle of Budapest.
