This. I dont know why Frank Warren was making such a fuss as he was one of the people directly responsible for making top tier boxing such a fucking farce in the first place.

Channel 5 by the way. Fury's just been singing with the guy he's fighting on the piano. That actually just happened.

Awful fight so far. Fury vs Price needs to happen next.

Harsh booing him though I think. Never thought fury was shit, but for me he's looked pretty decent tonight. The guy he's fighting just cane to spoil and defend and furys shown good concentration and I've been pretty impressed with his fitness . Still think he's fairly shit but he's definitely less shit then I thought he was.

Froch vs Kessler could be a step closer after the Dane just destroyed Magee in three rounds tonight.

Never going to happen anyway. Still think Mayweather would dismantle him over 12 rounds and win on points

Both are past their prime. Really feels like they missed on boat on that fight. It'll make a lot of money though so I'm sure it'll still happen.

Surprised there's no chit chat on Khan's fight last night. Only managed to catch the highlights on YouTube this morning, but he's looking pretty friggin impressive under his new trainer (I'm not sure how big a bum his opponent was, but Amir was clearly in a whole other league). Definitely seems less careless, not taking as many stupid risks, but still infinitely more exciting to watch than something like that Fury borefest a few weeks back.
I know a lot of folk can't stand Amir, but I'm hoping he'll stick around, there aren't many guys with his flare left.

Glad to hear he's back to form. At his best he is a great fighter to watch.

Yeah, good result for Khan. He is the most talented fighter we have. And he has mixed it at a very high level given his age. He should concentrate on a rematch next year with Garcia; Peterson is not worth bothering with considering his doping offence.

Missed this last night, hopefully catch a replay.

They had to give tickets away to fill the arena for this, might be the start of a climb back though.

Khan was fighting a guy from a lower weight class who can't punch. Still flawed with his wide open chin. To call him the most talented British fighter is nonsense, avoiding punches and taking them when they land is just as important as throwing them.

Most talent British right now - I've seen Brook, Fury, Groves (last night) and Froch fight this year and feel that he has better technical ability, foot speed and conditioning than those guys. Yes he has a huge vulnerability but he has mixed it at a higher level than any other British fighter other than Froch, so his chin is bound to be tested more. It can also be argued that his weight division is the most competitive in the world right now.

The only two British boxers worth discussing are Khan and Froch as they're the only ones competing at world level right now. I'm a big fan of both, hope they both have a good 2013.

Can't stand the likes of Brook and Fury, beating nobody after nobody and then talking like they're king of the hill. Even more annoying considering both will most likely get shown up when they come across any half decent world level boxer.

Agree on Fury, I caught that fight a couple of weeks ago, it was the first time I'd seen him after hearing a lot of positive buzz, and I think it was literally the most boring boxing match I've ever watched. Eubank's undercard fight was a lot more entertaining.
I'm still quite interested in what Haye will do next year, I'm sure he won't want to end his career on that last fiasco of a fight.

    Just watched the fight,

Impressed with Khan's jab and better discipline. Also nice to see some body shots which I havent seen in a long time from Khan!

The Garcia fight is the obvious one and I think Khan would now go on to win that.

The split with Roach also opens up the possibility of a pac-man showdown in the summer...

Good news, should be a great fight. I expect Kessler to edge it.

Kessler is a great fighter but Froch will have much more self belief going into this one. The whole of Britain love Froch as well now, which I dont think was the case a couple of years ago
