Sorry to here that mate, best of luck with the treatment.

I know two guys who have come down with testicular cancer, it was very sobering visiting them in the hospital the amount of young guys in the wards.

Every man between 25 and 40 should be checking their balls once a week. Ignoring any jokes it is much commoner than people think andc hits people younger. Chek yourselves dudes.

I'm a little alarmed by the concept of jonsaan kicking his cancer. What if he misses and gets himself square in the unaffected bollock?

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

Hey man, just thought I'd say stay positive. In my youth I had a friend at 20 years old who got testicular cancer, he made a 100% recovery - everything is possible and I really believe that staying positive is a massive part of it.

Survival / remission rates are extremely high for this type of thing if caught in time. Which is paltry consolation for a shitty and terrifying illness. Aside from sympathy and all the best wishes there's nothing I can say, but I do seriously hope to see an "ALL CLEAR, take that cancer, take it in the face" post from you. Good luck jonsaan.

Thanks all. It's really nice to read all your messages. The problem I had is that my nads appeared normal when inspected (I have had them checked out a few times over the last year or so). It's only when I went into A&E for savage stomach pains that they saw it. I had a CT scan and all my my lymph nodes around my bowell and stuff are super huge and swollen up. The byopsy showed a seminoma which is why the whipped off the suspicious nad to get further tests done. Lets hope it is exactly that. All the signs are that it is and as lots of you say the prognosis for that type is very good. The worst bit is right now. Waiting for the Chemo but not being able to start for a week or so. You just want to get on with it.

Anyway. Thanks all. Much love. xx

Just want to echo the sentiments already provided (Be postive, good luck, FTCUTHA etc)

I've been in remission for 9 years now - the treatment "sucked" but with a good strong support network of friends and/or family you'll be fine :)

All the best - and it cannot be stressed enough - STAY POSITIVE - You will "pwn" this illness for maximum justice :)
