Ash deserved it in the end, but I was rooting for Claire to win.

    Oh well, he'll be brilliant.

I reckon you could make a good version of Claire from the WoW character editor and choosing a gnome as your character.

Ash was pretty much faultless all the way though. Incredible. The other two could've both won any other year.

Well worth the trip. Luckily only five minutes round the road from me.
15 minutes from me, thank you, will check it out!

I think the stuff they were turning out was top notch, better than what the "Great British Chefs" do.

All three are surely destined for glittering careers. Roux Jr must've thought so to let them loose on the chef's dinner.

I wanted Steve to win because I thought he showed the most improvement and potential of all the contestants. That said, I don't think he'd be ready to lead a brigade of cooks until his voice breaks properly.

Looking forward to it, hopefully the beeb will return it to the evening slot instead of mid afternoon which was ridiculous. Though if they go for the XFactor style auditions this time I'll probably switch off!

Out of interest, anyone got any of the books associated with this series? I saw a couple in Waterstones last week, but never had time to look at them properly (was rushing to catch a bus). Also anyone got Michelle Roux Jr's books?

I'm looking to improve my cooking skills and learn some of the classics (I'm just self taught out of books).

Is anyone watching the sport relief bake off? She's put a large piece of the worlds hottest chili in her chocolate tart. Should be very funny when the judges eat it

Well I apologise. It was apparently delicious.

Edit - I'm so disappointed! I thought it was going to kick their arses

Cool. From the trailers it looks as though there will be some real disasters tonight. Should be hilarious.

Disagree. For about 22% of the time she was on TV she looked very hot. Janet Street-Porter has never, not even for 0.22%, looked hot.

    That chef was a prick.
