Never seen such praise for cooking on this. I really wish I could have tried that Ash's food.

The music in the series is a bit of an odd choice. Tonight's episode sounded like it was lifted from Lord of the Rings or something.

Edit* One thing I have noticed though is that these chef's vocabulary is about as varied as a premiership footballer.

Wanted Ash to win earlier in the week but now I'm gunning for lovely Claire.

    Mmm, lovely Claire.

I'll try not to turn this into another Diana Vickers thread.

It's Ash's to throw away as far as I see it, he's been by far the best overall throughout, pretty much faultless.

I'd like to see Claire win it though, there's a certain je ne c'est quoie about her (in additon to her cooking obviously!)

The stress in those 2 star kitchens looks hideous though, I certainly couldn't stick that on a day-to-day basis.

Price list from Celler Can Roca, similar to the Fat Duck I believe. I'd love to go there just once.

My wife tried to book the Fat Duck for my 40th, tried for months, but she's given up. We'll just go to Edinburgh and go to 2-3 one Michelin starred. Or the authentic Malaysian that I will probably prefer to be honest :)

Yes, lovely Claire, with the lovely hair.

Wallace was clearly light-years out of his depth - resorting to his trademark basic 'descriptions of what's on the plate.' He really has no clue about food, other than telling us what we know ("buttery biscuits, nutty mushrooms" etc).

Celler is a bargain at 130 for the full tasting menu, compared to Fat Duck's 180.

Finally catching up on this weeks episodes. That apricot thing was insane.

Edit* .. and there's something I can't quite put my finger on about the pastry chef that reminds me of Jean Reno in Leon.

I'm amazed and disappointed at the lack of pics on google from the episode where silver haired Claire was putting her chef whites, showing the low necked top beneath.
