    I posted this

Is it just me or does the format get weirder and weirder? I had to turn off after they finished the second round of chefs and moved onto the third. I was saturted with it.

You can definitely have too much of a good thing. Three sets of contestants in one show is just overkill.

Another hour-long show tonight. I guess making Masterchef is cheap :-/

When you can't see the angles on the wall you're in trouble.

Jesus, this show is always sodding on! Couldn't believe a new series was starting. So fed up of cooking and house programmes. Thank god for Sky+

NOoooo we need more!! I can't get enough, honestly :)

You know the Masterchef signs on the outside of masterchef HQ, last night they looked so cheap... you could just tell some dude with a ladder was poised out of shot, ready to unhook them

I want to punch the presenters in the face. And then punch them in the face again.

I never understood why a greengrocer gets to be a judge.

And why when they are deciding who to put through do they not have a real discussion? Instead they just say stuff at each other. I'd be constantly looking over my shoulder to see if they were talking to me or someone else.

Still, it's great when someone throws some cooked lamb into some couscous and throws it on a plate.

    'Sup, what's guanine?

I liked "that was the worst thing you could have done". Really? I bet if she'd shat on the plate that would have been worse.

What's really getting on my goat is the way they encourage contensants to grovel so much about how much they *WANT* it and how it would change their life, etc. Lame or fake, it's a real turn off.

FFS - it's a cookery contest. I take food pretty seriously, but it's never a matter of life or death.

They used to introduce him as a "fresh produce expert" or something equally made up. They're getting the guy who drives the Zamboni at Ally Pally ice rink to replace Phillip Schofield for the next series of Dancing on Ice too.

Trouble is, even Michel Roux Jr. was shit on Masterchef, and he knows his onions. Literally.

Despite his knowledge and skill, he'd just say 'You've got the seasoning just right,' or 'It lack seasoning.' Oh, and my personal favourite: 'That's as pretty as a picture.'

Why do they have to taste every single ingrediant on the plate in one big gobful? Is that just the way you are supposed to eat in fancy restaurants?

"Yes the lamb is overpowered by the vegetables and sauce." Of course it fucking is, you crammed the whole dish in your mouth.

Ive only just read this and I can't stop laughing :-D

Massive failure. Then again, so many have got through this week, it's hardly a shock...

I'm not enjoying this series at all. I don't like that there are no half hour episodes, and that last episode felt like it was planned by the producers to create a talking point.

Fucking LOL, some woman just mistook salt for sugar. Mmmm yummy salt cheesecake! That's the worst mistake I've seen since the guy who thought he was grating cheese but it was actually butter

Cardamon (sp?) in your cheesecake? Show some invention and put salt in it

Lamb is commonly mistaken for Beef, Pork and Duck by Masterchef amateurs, I've learned.

'Twas hilarious seeing their reactions :p
