Only discovered these myself about 6 months back. Having previously been a big MST3K fan I was instantly hooked.

My favourite has to be Daredevil simply because they hate Affleck almost as much as I do!

When given a wish, most people ask for money, power, that sort of thing. I simply ask that Ben Affleck die. Soon.

A long overdue bump for this.

Probably the finest way to watch shit movies ever devised.

    Site now with added samples

My strictly un-legit way of watching is to download a pre-mixed riff from a torrent site (of a DVD I own, of course) and hit the donate page of their site and pay up, most are less than a couple of quid and make a movie instantly watchable all over again. Or in many cases, watchable for the first time.

My favourite Rifftrax moment so far, from a motorbike chase scene in Batman and Robin:

"This scene would be better if everybody's skulls were on fire."

"Ah, so you enjoyed Ghost Rider?"

    "...What's Ghost Rider?"

These are pretty awesome, can't decide on my fravorite one.

Independance Days Vice President Stringy Haired Rocker Dude or X-Mens "I out britished him by a mile" probably.

Anyway if you're just starting I'd suggest any were all three of them are riffing.

Jurassic Park was good, if a little ruined by Weird Al's shrillness. I think Battlefield Earth delivers the most as it turns completely unwatchable pap into a great movie. The Crystal Skull and Harry Potter ones are pretty good as well. Not to mention the Lord of the Rings riffs. I can't wait for the third installment.

I was a little disapointed with Predator and Raiders.

the harry potter ones are great, as is the casino royale one. the mr bungle short is amazing (and only 99c including the video itself)

I like raiders just for the fan boys bit.

I just watched The Running man Rifftrax

    Very funny !
  • Deleted user 23 July 2009 12:37:35
I dunno, I thought it would be quite funny but it's just two wisecracking assholes talking over the movie and not even saying anything that amusing.

At least that's what I got from the two samples I just watched.

    /shrugs

    You have no soul.

All of the ones I have brought have been worth the $3. If I had to pick some fravorites I'd go with X-Men 1 & 2 and Independancy Day, all though that only fits the special edition, which is worth noting.

They just didn't say anything that funny. In fact they missed quote a lot of noteworthy gags. I mean in that Grudge clip Bill Pullman goes over the balcony and she doesn't even scream, just wanders over and looks out the window agog. Nothing. No mention at all. Poor.

Setting Up a Room is about two women setting up a kindergarten classroom. It lasts for 27 minutes.
