    Applejack I love you to your core \o/

    Will be getting it tonight - loving the idea of the rewind mechanic.

    Here's the Marketplace link again, as evild_edd's post ended up at the bottom of the previous page.

    Honk if you love apples!!

    The difficulty levels are 'soft core', 'regular core' or 'hard core' - all projected over a pic of an apple core.

    Similar fantastic music to the first game. Great responsive controls. Love this game already, 80MSP is such a steal.

    Loved the first Apple Jack, don't think I ever finished it though. This sequel looks great but I have 2460msp and the obsessive compulsive in me won't let me get it 'til I have a few more points!

    Buy it you tight bastard! Played some more this afternoon - some really neat level design later in - just got chased by a giant panda!

    A bit of a cheat because I'm not playing this on the Xbox, but I feel I must add a thumbs up for Escape Goat.

    Got it for the PC in the latest Indie Royale bundle and spent all yesterday afternoon playing it with the kids. It's only 80 points if you prefer the 360 to the PC, and it's a super little game.

    I may sound like a broken record but despite having a 'currently playing' pile including Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, Minecraft, Trials Evo etc I'm spending all my time on Applejack2.

    I would have happily paid 400 or 800MSP for it so 80 was such a bargain.

    Check this playthrough vid of the first 4 levels then try telling me it's not the best XBLIG game ever!

    Is there a way to check which indie games you have purchased whilst they are uninstalled?

    @Blerk
    I picked that up when it came out, its really good. I'm not sure why, but I hardly ever load it up. When I do, I end up playing it for ages. In fact, I think I'll have a go later, thanks for reminding me about it!

    Noticed that an officially licensed port of the Spectrum version of Manic Miner is up for 240 points - 1.85 mb size !!

    Ha! Thanks - Ill definately check that out later. For some reason Im strangely tempted even thought 240 points is a bit steep.

    I dunno. Doesn't that equate to about 2? I don't think 2 for Manic Miner, if it has been coverted well, is too much to ask.

    Not having a go, just worry sometimes that some other areas of the videogames marketplace has really devalued games to an extent that 2 for anything now that doesn't come in a box or doesn't have huge production values associated with it appears to be expensive.

    ...no, I don't work for EA, and yes I would obviously be happier for my wallet if it was 80msp! ;op Happy to pay 2 for it though if it turns out to be a good port.

    From 6 quid back in the day to 2 in just under 30 years, it's devaluing at the same speed as a first party Nintendo game!

    @kentmonkey

    Yeah you are right - its still cheap. Just that most other indie games are dirt cheap. Sign of the times that it seems expensive....

    Still, I may wait another 20 years and pick it up when its a quid.

    @Alipan

    ended up buying - like you thought the 240 pts was a bit steep, but rationalised that 2 for the game wasn't that bad

    Looks goods on my 52" screen - dread to think what a Spectrum hooked up via composite would look like on it !!

    That's the XBL Indie release, Cute Things Dying Violently. (early PC footage) The game is pointed out as Super Meat Boy meets Lemmings, it's on the way to PC, via Desura, in an enhanced form next month.
    I'm interested to find out whether anybody had tried it, could recommend it as a piece of quality puzzling goodness, or where the opinion generally is for the Xbox version.

    Penny Arcade 3 from Zeboyd is out now. Quite steep for an indie at 400msp but I'm sure it'll be worth it. Downloading it now.

    Edit: Marketplace link.

    Avaglide 2 was up earlier today/Sunday, but appears to have been pulled

    Downloaded the trial but it crashed on me, so guess there may be issues with the version uploaded to the Marketplace

    240 points with 3 worlds this time

    Avaglide 2 is about to appear on the XBLIG!

    Could this be the most monumental sequel since Apple Jack 2 or Little Racers: Street?

    I'm not sure yet, because I haven't played it. However, the devs very kindly sent me a code to redeem for it, as I won the Avaglide high score compo, sometime over a year ago.

    It isn't on the marketplace yet, and if I'm honest I feel a little bit guilty about robbing them of a sale, but I just thought I'd share my excitement with you all.

    Great to see AppleJack 2 get a thoroughly deserved full review on EG today. 9/10, 80msp, no brainer

    Picked up Apple Jack 2 on the back of positive comments and the review, played the first 7 or 8 chapters - great so far. XBLIG has some real gems.

    Sushi Castle's really good, I hope people don't ignore it in all the (deserved) fuss over Applejack 2. It reminds me a bit of The Binding of Isaac. Milkstone seem to be on a bit of a roll since LRS, that Tower Defence thing they did was really good too. I don't think they've done a "bad" game since that Golden-Axe-alike thingy, and even that ended up being pretty good once they'd patched it.

    Oh my god, Apple Jack 2 is *lovely*.

    What an absolute steal for 80 msp. I think the first one is getting bought now too.

    Has anyone bought Avaglide 2?
    It was on the list of new releases but then disappeared, but is still showing under "A" when you look for it
    I've bought it for 240 points but it seems very unstable and has always crashed on me within a few minutes, more so when I've used a USB stick to save to rather than the hard drive
    Does anyone know if this is getting fixed and re-released later or is this the final code?
