Registered 11 years agoI'm not a fan of the design either. I mentioned it because it's going to be the tallest in North America (2000ft), roughly 281% taller than London's tallest -
Better to be hung for a sheep than a lamb I guess!

To be honest though, that does seem to be a modern standard, quite a few of the new London ones seem to be going for a similar (if more dainty) style. I guess that one at least has a due sense of accomplishment to it. -

2. Even at this stage the road infrastructure is failing them.
3. It can be too hot.
4. If you have prescription meds on you or in your system they can try and put you in jail
5. If they think you're a poofter they'll put you in jail
6. If they just don't like you, they'll put you in jail
7. If you're that poor kid who got raped by a bunch of dudes they'll threaten to prosecute you for being a homo and don't care that they didn't tell you one of 'em was known to have HIV...I'm a grumpy bastard.

Is that worth having Will Smith for though?

Registered 11 years agoI've always like Will Smith honestly. He's a good actor, but he's too often in those sci-fi roles that require him to be a bit silly (I robot, independence day, Men in Black)
Seems like a good guy personally, i wouldn't mind welcoming him as our new leader -

Registered 7 years agoNah, just halt existing construction and demolish the current buildings that are too expensive to maintain when they become dangerous.
The real crying shame here is the lack of an opinion piece titled 'The Man Who Built His House On Sand'.LB, you really are a massive geek.

Naaah, they're going to build massive solar power farms and sell it to us at treble the price of oil. :'(
What we should do is sort out our wind and tidal power and undercut them. But we won't because we're a shit democracy where the plebs would rather have tax cuts now and let their grandchildren burn in hell.say no to Eurogamer sigs
