See, I quite liked Enter the Matrix too.

There were 1 or 2 positives in that. I think.

What the fuck is WRONG WITH YOU?

A map is like comparing velocity and speed.

I don't think it was possible to get past the second level due to your AI partner driving your car into a wall every time.

A map is like comparing velocity and speed.

I don't really understand the technical complaints, it seems pretty solid on PC at least, I'm sure I ran into more bugs in BlOps 2 than in this. Its greatest crime is being uninspired and uneventful rather than broken.
As I understand it the PC version is the most stable but the console versions have a lot of problems.

The best thing about Enter the Matrix was Monica Bellucci getting more screen time than she did in the movies.

@StarchildHypocrethes Grasping at straws here, but would a massive patch or 3 make this game passable, at least from a gameplay/fun standpoint?

If the massive patch replaced all the programming code with code from Dead Space 3, maybe.

LB, you really are a massive geek.

You could flip off walls and kill people in slow motion. It was good.

The aliens try that in Colonial Marines, but either get stuck on a railing or just forget and stand around instead.

If the details in this post turn out to be accurate then I can see legal action being around the corner, I can't see Sega being happy about Gearbox using an ACM delay to work on Borderlands 2 instead.

Silicon Knights say Hi! It worked out well for them... oh wait :)
GBX will be fine, nothing is going to happen. There will be a couple of patches and it will be buried in the next-gen rush.

    Bastards :(

The whole engine it's built on seems to be just about held together with a couple of strips of virtual Sellotape. Might take more than a patch or 3 to fix that...

    Had a go. Hilariously bad.
The only time it kind of felt like an aliens game was the escape mode played as marines.
Playing as Aliens, in third person so you can see the atrocious animation, is pretty bad. For some reason the crosshair is there until you attack meaning when you do attack you flail your arms around unsure if you're hitting anything while you get cut through like butter in seconds.

    You dare to strike Scurrcules!?

Ah well at least someone has found a way to switch off the dissolving aliens on the PC version.

    I guess I'm easily pleased.

Check this out. The guy is playing on "hardened" difficulty....

He was able to run through the whole level without firing a single shot and barely gets a scratch from the aliens.

    An example of AI magnificence

LOL that's the first footage of the teleporting AI buddies I've seen in that speed run. What were they thinking :)

That demo/final comparison really says it all. They've clearly pissed away so much time developing their own IP, that the time has come where they couldn't delay this anymore so it's just been patched together & thrown out of the door.
Rather than optimising & polishing the game up, any graphical features that have hit the frame rate have just been removed completely, leaving a rough looking, glitchy mess. It's like a playable alpha masquerading as a full game.

If I remember the demo was watched while scammer Pitchfraud talked people though it. Now we see why...
