    Near 120 stars in, you know what I find extremely annoying in this game? That it RESETS your lifes every time you turn the game of.

    Sure, it's easy enough not to be bothersome most of the game, but going for the more difficult stars now and all those lifes would sure come in handy. Also, what's the point in going for the dificult of-the-beaten-track green mushrooms when I know they'll be reset when I turn the game off?

    It was the same in mario sunshine where you would get booted out of a level into the hub world if you lost all your lives, only to be given 3 more, making you trek it all the way back to the level entrance for no reason. They could have just let you continue from the start of the level.

    Grrrrrrr. That boss speed-run is doing my head in. Whoever thought that would be a fun idea needs to be shot.

    Yeah that was one of the hardest stars.

    Just got this and have just reached the prankster comets. So far it seems that as I complete one of the prankster comet missions a new prankster comet turns up - is that how it works? So if you can't get past one the next one won't unlock?

    Not really. Getting more comet coins unlocks more comets, though progression through the game is also needed.

    Anyway, just reached the perfect run part. Interesting. I can see this being VERY frustrating, but will give it a few tries!

    Bump.

    With the spring suit, is there any method to getting it to do the big jump? It just seems to be random.

    Hold down the jump button just as you land, I think.

    It's only used in one level in the entire game though, from what I remember.
