I guess it depends on your inconvenience thresholds!
I thought SR went down and the replacements were highly dubious? And don't yuou have to pay in bit coin? Bitcoin looks like a massive ball ache. And don't you need to get on the Tor network? I have a light-speed fast computer but man oh man the Tor app is sloooooow. And don't you need to have it sent to your home address? Getting packets of weed in the post sounds convenient but extremely dodgy.

I got fed up with my dealer's increasingly erratic behaviour and the fact that there was no real guarantee of quality or supply.
The first SR did go down and all the bitcoins got taken, then a new SR emerged, and got hacked and all the bitcoins got taken. It seems to be a lot more stable now, but I'd never keep any bitcoins in there longer than necessary.
Tor is a bit slow, but the new SR seems a lot quicker.
Getting bitcoins is easy and legit - usually takes about 15 minutes, and I've found a seller on SR that is so far very reliable. The product, packaging, price, speed of delivery is always consistent.
From getting the bitcoins to finalizing a purchase takes about 5 minutes. And the guy always seems to get it delivered next day. I use it maybe once every one or two months, so it's hardly a massive effort.
Getting a 8th of weed sent your house is perhaps a bit dodgy, but there's very little proof that you ordered it, you can use a fake name or get it sent to a PO box. Compared to hanging round parking lots waiting for my friendly neighborhood dealer to scoop me up, its infinitely preferable.
