Really Camp late 80's House music or Disco - Sylvester, Ten City. Sung in a Falsetto if possible.

Roxy Music and Ian Brown are hardly uncool.

As Silentbob, Michael Jackass' music is a guilty pleasure for me, even if some of his stuff has critical acclaim.

PS - KISS are awesome (WASP too :) )

Can we say specific tracks too? If so:

I meant more O_O - as in how can a cultural icon, and one of the most important and influential people in modern music be considered uncool or naff.

I wish I knew - just every time I mention liking him, someone has to pop up out of the woodwork.

Kate Bush and Roxy Music might be critically acclaimed, but I still get that guilty pleasure thing from listening to them. They're definitely music of a quite specific era.

I have a real weakness for the sugababes music. Their music not just because they're not exactly ugly either (well, apart from the new new one)

The sugababes are one of the reasons it's okay to listen to commercial radio sometimes. They do make good radio pop - though rarely the sort of stuff I want to actually own. The only sugababes record I own is the single of Freak Like Me, and at the time (and still) I wished I'd gone and got Richard X's original mash-up on 7" inch when I first heard it, cos although the Sugababes version was technically better, it just felt OLD at the time it came out.

I'm listening to Sparks - Kimono My House right now.

They're really good but I'd have to consider them a guilty pleasure.

    Katie Melua.

In my defence, I do have a thing for girls with long, black, curly hair but I will catagoricly deny having all three of her albums should anyone ask me.

I have no guilty pleasures. Everything I do/eat/listen to/think/dream/fwap over is excellent and if you think otherwise then you are wrong.

    Sting. Shakira. Nelly Furtado.

I don't care what you think.

Wailing rock guitars. Think The Darkness, Van Halen and Dragonforce. Not the singing bits, just the guitars.

Just thumbing through my Zen library. Nothing too embarrassing though I do have a couple of Girls Aloud tracks on there. Laugh all you like, but Call the Shots is ace :)

I quite like that "The Hills" show on MTV. Spoilt (and very hot) little rich girls in LA, oh the drama.

    Kanye West
    Bruce Springsteen
    Some Michael Jackson
    New Order

I tend towards pretty much any early to mid nineties dance music that I grew up with, a lot of cheese but every time I hear it I can't help but enjoy it.

In the last month I have bought all the original ABBA studio albums (none of your Greatest Hits nonsense), and I can't stop listening to them, they are fantastic.

    Should I seek help?

ABBA are the ultimate pop musicians. Unlike some other overrated dead celebrities one could mention.

Guilty music pleasure - do The Proclaimers count?

    say no to Eurogamer sigs

no, the Proclaimers come under Shameful pleasures.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
