I didn't have any real difficulties until the last boss, I just couldn't beat it when I first faced it so I had to grind a fair bit is all.

Heh, Attack increased, power charged god's hand does over a 1000 damage on the final boss from Chie :)

    Murderised it!

Though...I know theres more story and a bonus dungeon/boss to go through :p

    Done :)

Didn't even need to use soma on the final form either. Barely broke a sweat but still felt epic, even if it wasn't quite like the marathon Nyx battle that was in P3.

Characters were amazing all the way though.

9.8/10, with P3 taking a straight 10. Other games just aren't made like this, it's an absolute joy to spent 97 hours. Honestly can't wait to see what they do with Persona 5. Least I've got The Answer, Persona PSP and P3P femme till then to keep me more than busy :p

Alright, alright it was a cakewalk for you, have a damn cookie! :0

Rating P3 above 4 even by a small increment is incorrect I'm afraid. ;)

Pish. I've gone on his this with folks loads, I just like the more melodramatic tones in P3 and the more fantastical storyline. I'm a sucker for a damsel in distress and the game has them by the bucket load. I like all the bright colours of the city and the exaggerated characters.

P4 was funnier though. And Teddy deserves a game all of his own to be honest.

Persona 3 Fes > Persona 4 > Persona 3. They are all pretty awesome though. Now who do I have to murder for a remake of the two Persona 2s?

Give it time :) Atlus are on a Persona roll at the moment :)

I mean if you go by the USA release schedule, we've had a Persona game ever year since 2006. I'd say 2011 release for P5 or P2.1/2.2

It may depend on how well Persona 1 PSP sold. Not very, is my guess.

Atlus don't need the sales that EA et all need. If it was more than 30K it would probably be seen as a success. I mean Demon's Souls was only expected to sell 70K to achieve the profits they needed from it, it ended up selling 280K was met with cheers from Atlus.

It's nice to see a publisher that doesn't cry if they don't sell 2 million copies.

    EDIT:

In Japan at least, before it was released west Persona PSP sold 3 times more than they expected it to :)

Well that's certainly nice to know. Come oooon, Atlus, you can do it!

By the time I'd finished P4 there weren't too many things I preferred about P3. Both are solid gold RPGs, but I think P4 is the overall better game.

Does the PAL Persona 4 work on the PAL 60GB PS3? I'm thinking of getting this since I got Persona 3 portable and so far it's incredible.

Persona 1 is very different from the other Persona's. Plays more like a traditional RPG and personas are only available by fusion.

If you're a PSP owner, the remake of Persona was released in Europe on the PSN store for 20.

Yeah it does work. Only one bug where you can't see what floor you're on in a dungeon.

I am playing Persona 2: Innocent Sin (thanks to the fan translation patch) and kinda stuck on a boss near the end (or so I think, being 100+ hours in), trying to beat him without extra grinding. I like nearly EVERYTHING (except for the loading times) about it better than Persona 3 FES. The writing is clumsier, though, but maybe it's just the translation, and it's a pretty "normal" jRPG (no waiting sim elements) all around.

I've just bought this new from Play.com for 14.50. Works fine on my BC PS3.

Played about 3 hours so far (just got Chie's Persona). Never played a Persona game before, but this really is good ain't it.

Are there any pitfalls to avoid with this Persona fusing malarkey? Just keen to avoid any major cock ups in the development of my posse.

Just go ahead and fuse as many unique ones as you can. You can always buy them back at a high price :)

Actually its cheaper the more % of the compendium you complete. Don't know what I am on about?...just keep playing!

About 20 hours into this now, my posse are around level 28 and just defeated the extra cop boss in the Kanji steam rooms. Such a joyously fun game - loving it. Will definitely be checking out Persona 3 once I've completed this one.
